Delivery never arrived – I have no place an order on 6/10/24 and paid express delivery. the order has never arrived and I have tried numerous times to contact the company and received no response.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE – Terrible customer service. Received an email saying my order had been posted, with tracking information that didn't work. I followed up many times and had no response to emails, online chat, help form, etc. Eventually found a phone number on white pages and the lady who answererd refused to confirm the tracking or confirm if it had been posted. I assume it was never actually posted. The same business seems to run multiple websites.

Exorbitant and unprofessional – Could have paid $40 less for the costume but this was the only site offering it in the Large size. Received the Standard size. Four emails requesting help were ignored. Should have purchased from costume.box.

Very good online costume shop – Great online costume shop! Website is very easy to use and the delivery is fast. We ordered some Harry Potter costumes and we received them within 3 days. Great service!

DO NOT BUY – Don't waste your time and money. Possible the WORST customer service from a company I have ever encountered. They have 2 contact numbers however no one every gets back to you - whats the point of have a customer contact number? They have a Facebook of which they do reply however with vague, brief messages of which are not helpful at all. The… Read more

tracking number they gave me isn't even registered with Australia Post and AP have confirmed this. This company is either fake, dodgy or run by people that have no idea what they are doing. Send or refund my item or else I will take this to legal action.

Never order through this company ever!!! – I placed my order on the 7th March and paid for express postage and still waiting for my item 8 days later. I live in NSW region. I purchased an item in QLD and it arrived 3 days later. This company is a joke and reading other people comment about paying express post and receiving much later is dirt poor. Do what's right to people who pay for your goods. I would never recommend this site to anyone.

contact the company multiple times through phone and Facebook but received no reply. I ended up having to order through a site I did trust. Complete scam, do not buy as you will lose your money!

sure was, at TRIPLE on what I was under the assumption was gping to be a purchase under $30! Told them to cancel my order and refund my money the very next day after making the purchase, parcel arrived a week later with no response to 7 emails! Not very happy at all, wouldn't EVER deal with these thrives again, they are completely false and misleading, and gutless cowards for not returning any correspondance .. should be able to leave no stars highlighted, but had to make a very reluctant choice .. should be a fat 0 , not worthy of a 1

Very poor communication – Ordered costume for hubby and was trying to decide between 2 costumes for myself but wanted to check sizing. They have 2 phone numbers listed and I tried calling 4 times one morning - no answer and no once called back. Had to order by 2pm to supposedly get it the next day so ended up ordering both costumes thinking can return one. Nothing arrived… Read more

On the following day, got an email saying send then 2 seconds later another email saying "sorry they'd missed my order and refunded me half my order - so I was left very confused as to what what going on. Again tried to call, again no answer. Then tried emailing and also their online live chat option - still no response!! Package arrived and hubby's was there but not mine. It left me without a costume for my event and running around on the day of the event trying to find something else. Very poor service!!

Paid for express post - same city - it has almost been a week and still haven't received the order – The staff are really unhelpful. Upon requesting tracking information - they said that it is not available. Reside in the same city as their warehouse it's almost been a week and still have not received the parcel. Considering express post was purchased that's ridiculous. Will not be using this service again.

Week late delivery – Ordered a simple costume from Costume direct on the 26th Oct and specified in the order it needed to be in Darwin by 1/11. Got an email saying it was only shipped today and not due until next Wednesday. Nothing to wear for the party on Saturday night. Cheers Costume Direct.

Buyers beware – Prior to purchase I had confirmed an exchange or refund was possible. However since receiving the costume and wanting to exchange, I haven't been able to reach anyone to speak with regarding this process. All phone calls to landline and mobile, along with emails and messages left via website chat service, have gone unanswered. I have been trying everyday for 10 days without success.

Fabulous fast service – What an awesome service they provide. Ordered Saturday evening, arrived to my door in Perth on Wednesday. Everything packages securely and communications were excellent. Costumes are fabulous. Highly recommend company

party. With all the party stress I sent it back about 2 weeks later as I forgot. When I queried the refund after about another 2 weeks, I was rudely informed that my return was too late and as a gesture of 'goodwill' I could have a credit. Not only was I not informed of any of this before contacting these people but this company now sits with a returned item which they can of coirse resell so have earned double from me. If you attempt to return an item to a shop, they would simply refuse to accept it if it was out of return date, not claim it regardless. The credit note was also only given (I haven't received anything) because I queried it. Shocking behaviour from a company that is supposed to be helping you and saving time from going to a shop! You are safer going to a shop or ebay!

Great Store & Great Staff – I dealt with the lovely owner Linda, I didnt know my size or what exactly I wanted! She gave me a list of all my hire options and the prices. She took my measurements in the store and the costume was perfect! I got lots of compliments - I will be recommending her business every time! Thanks for your help :)

Last Minute 30th Costume Hire – I forgot I had a party to go to on the Friday and I called Costume Direct to help me find a specific character for this Superheros party. I finished work late, and they kept their shop open to help me find what i needed! The costume lasted me all night, it was great quality and was really great value for money! 5 Star Service & 5 Star Product! Highly recommended

Helped me out just in the nick of time – Twice i've been in such a rush for a theatrical performance and left my costume until last minute. Without costume direct I would well and trully be in the sheeit. The staff have always been extremely kind to me and the service is superb.

Great selection of costumes for all occasions – I got an Elvis outfit to go to a 50's party and was very impressed by the extensive collection and the range on offer. I could have chosen from any one of about 4 or 5 Elvis costumes. My costume was in very good condition and was available several days in advance which saved us having to go back to pick it up the day before the party. The service in-store was excellent.

Better than I expected – After reading some of the reviews I was a bit dubious however the costume arrived in three days. Both items were in good condition and appear to be well made. Ordering was easy and no fuss and saved me from spending a lot of time searching in shops. I would definitely consider using Costume Direct again.

Absolutely disgusting product and service – My costume was Wheres Wally Wenda. It was almost totally see through, the fabric can be likened to petticoat material. I am out of pocket $70.00. Do yourself a favour and don't order from them. They don't deserve even the one star :-(

email saying that they had sent me a note and because it was past the 7 days I was no longer able to have a refund. I DID not receive any emails from them and they have completely denied any responsibility for this. It would almost be ok if the costume was wearable but it's such poor quality, poor fitting and horrendous!

Great customer service! – I bought two costumes from this shop for my girls. I left it to the last minute to find costumes, I didn't have much experience on buying kids costumes, thanks to their quick response and help, i was very happy with their service, and also happy with the quality of costumes.. I will def recommend to you all.

Do not use them - Terrible – I have never had such bad service and someone swearing at me. My costume didn't arrive in time although I had ordered it weeks before, and I was told "That's your problem". They refused to refund or find me an alternative. I was called a liar, stupid and sworn at, and they refused to accept any responsibility. Be warned!!!

Good service – I and my friends ordered a few costumes from Costume Direct for my friend's 21 birthday party. The theme is "what you want to be when you grow up". Their staff gave us lots of ideas and suggestions. They were very helpful! We received all our costumes within 3 days after we placed the order.

Great Shopping Experience – I went to their store to order 2 costumes for a school muck up party. I was immediately greeted by wonderful staff who helped me through the process. They gave me ideas and options and I couldn't have asked for better service. I would highly recommend and come back again!!!

concern. I also requested to receive my full refund for the delivery and they said sorry we can't do this due to change of mind. I then sent my dress back and was advised I would receive my full refund once my parcel was received and two weeks later no reponse. I then contacted Costume Direct to explain why I have not received my refund or why no one bothers to call you back. I have paid for delivery to and from which cost me $22 and they would not refund this which is disappointing. Their online message is not a good service to use, I have sent 2 emails and contacted Costume Direct 3 times and no one contacts you back. They girls that work there are very young and seem nice but they don't seem to know what they're doing for example, you leave them a message with your issue and I was advised it would be dealt with and again, I contacted Costume Direct to speak to the Accounts Manager and I was advised she was not aware of the situation as she just returned from leave or it is Christmas time and we're busy, I then advised "we're all busy and this is no excuse". "I am very disappointed how this business operates and I highly recommend not to use Costume Direct again".

Incredible service!!! – The service I got here is really incredible and highly reliant. People are so nice and customer oriented rather than sale and can perceive what we are looking for ...and this is called the well integration of experience and high quality of customer service........
