1 Lee  · Absolute garbage, sensationalised trash to make a buck and click bait
1 Kate  · Journalism left the building. All I see is misinformation and biased opinions, designed for engagement only. Rage baiting at its finest.
1 Tim M.  · Stories are out of date and have deliberately misleading headlines to make you think it is breaking news. Don't waste your time with this misleading website.
1 Sarah H.  · Easy to sign up, painful to cancel. Phone call, put on hold, tedious call staff with a coercively surprised and hurt tone trying to drag out the process.
1 isis  · Extremely biased. Occasionally, it has a good article. Many of the published comments are so bad that they seem to be helping the AFP keep track of extremists.
1 Jafa  · They charged $335 for a Sunday Mail pet classified, and buried it in sex ads. Not their own ad, theirs was well buffered. Sunday Mail. Gross. Offensive.

I don't mind the articles, I read them with an open mind. I am giving this bad review because you can't unsubscribe from it online!!!! You can join online, but the second you want to leave, you have to call a phone number and sit and wait on hold for ages. When they finally answer you have to confirm your identity as if you are talking to your… Read more

bank. Then, they waste your time even further by trying to offer you all these deals to stay but you wouldn't know what you are really agreeing to as it is all verbal. In my opinion, any business that deliberately makes unsubscribing so difficult and time consuming is just plain sneaky and deceptive. I don't have the time to sit on hold. I mean what if no one answers or you can't get through. There's no alternative. You will be billed monthly. There's no email, no other way, only one phone number. How easy would it be to click an unsubscribe box? I won't be joining up again. They have set it up like this on purpose to make it difficult and I feel sorry for elderly people who will have to follow this process. I will be following other news media rather than reading the courier mail.

They claim in their recent television blitz that they are"obsessed with the facts". What a joke. The only thing they are obsessed with is themselves and selling their newspaper through click bait headlines. And don't ever criticize them in the comments section. They won't publish it because they are obsessed with themselves and don't tolerate… Read more

Biased Reporting - Even when making valuable discussion points in the comments section moderators will not publish online. No explanation will be given and the comments meet the standards for publishing, yet some people's comments are published that could be viewed as nasty or simply not contributing to the discussion but if they are what the… Read more

Courier Mail agrees with they will be published. Also when signing up they offered benefits like cinema tickets if subscribed for 6 months - never did get the tickets and had trouble accessing the site at times with terrible online support.

As we have cyclone baring down on Southeast Queensland 6.3.25 I find it poor in the extreme that news on the cyclone is locked behind a pay wall. It's a subscribe service format to read the news but critical information where the possibility of life is at risk should be made available to the public for free. Money hungry grubs.

The CM "Moderators" are so overwhelmingly biased they should be employed by the Global News. This comment for eg is banned presumably because it criticises the communist activist PM who is destroying Australia. The quality of journalism has deteriorated in the last five years to the extent that it can no longer be considered be a serious reliable newspaper. It is bogged down with advertising and sloppy journalism that clearly has no editorial oversight. It is litered with plagiarism and unnewsorthy content. Home delivery service is attrotious. Have been submitting complaints online through the system for years. Nothing happens, often it makes deliveries worse. Papers left on bitumen roadsides, often stolen by walkers / drivers if on roadway. R.I.P Rupert & Lachlan. I don't know why people bother subscribing. Compassion ? Tradition. ? Loyalty. ? Certainly not content.

Full of misinformation and disinformation ... basically a collection of gutter journalism and opinion pieces. Worse still, the distinction between commentary and factual reporting is often blurred so they can push political propaganda and promote culture wars.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order and was later told they couldn’t deliver to my address—without any explanation or option to resend it elsewhere. No communication, no solutions, just a cancellation. Absolutely terrible service. I won’t be ordering again.

BAD- Sign you up online and then put barriers in to cancelling. You CANT cancel online, you must endure an annoying phone call and constant re-sell before they will let you cancel. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

They are more than happy for you to sign up online, but make you phone during their restrictive business hours to cancel and even this they made extremely difficult to find out. If you want news from a place whose charging practices remind me of my old gym membership, the Courier Mail is for you.

No Genuine Customer Support. I am a subscriber to the Courier Mail and was receiving about 10 Email newsletters per day from them until 18 April 2025 when they abruplty stopped. I raised it with the Courier Mail who initially tried to resolve it by giving me instructions to clean-up my browser. I followed these instructions which were to no… Read more

avail. Eventually, they admited that it was a technical issue on their side and were trying to fix it.

Despite raising it with the Courier Mail support team on a number of occsaions, the issue has still not been resolved. An annoying aspect of this whole episode is that every time they respond to one of my follow-up enquiries, they say they are still trying to resolve the issue and will keep me informed of the progress. I have never received a progress email frrom them.

It is now some 10 weeks since I raised this issue and I have now come to the conclusion that it will never be resolved. When I tried to cancel my subscription, I was talked into continuing with it on the promise that the matter would be resolved shortly.

I think the time has come to cancel my subscription and look for another source for my news.

Courier Mail uses sensationalism and social media chats to create or exaggerate stories. Its’ journalists are biased and often attack the same schools, organisations or individuals as part of their personal vendetta.

The Courier Mail cant stop the frequent rainy days in Brisbane but they could enclose their paper in a fully waterproof covering. After too many days throwing my wet sodden and unreadable paper into the recycling bin I'm sadly cancelling my paper delivery. Final straw was hearing my paper delivered in the early morning hours I immediately raced… Read more

“Impossible to Cancel – Feels Like a Scam!” – I subscribed to The Courier-Mail, but when I tried to cancel, they made it extremely difficult. There’s no easy option to unsubscribe online, and they continue charging me $32 per month despite my attempts to remove my payment method. Their cancellation process is frustrating, designed to trap customers into paying longer than they want to. This… Read more

is an unethical practice, and I wouldn’t recommend subscribing unless you want to deal with endless runarounds just to cancel. Avoid at all costs!

Garbage! Don't even bother!!! – Complete garbage and do NOT even try to cancel, good luck with that. Total rip off never again. Trying to cancel, no do, wait til subscription over BUT they automatically renew. Don't get conned on this rag, no news only what they want to publish which is crap.

No independant journalism in this Rag – Cannot believe the garbage in this newspaper. Only reports one side ..Murdoch's opinion..no independant journalism there. The journalists have their own agenda. No wonder it's so unpopular

Worst 'newspaper' in Australia – I refuse to believe anything coming out of this fake news landmine. I wouldn't even line a pet cage with it. Yet this is our only option other than it's sister in crime, The Australian, in Queensland. Disgusting right wing ideologies all round.

Censorship by Murdoch Media – Cancelled my internet CM ans The Australian subscription as Murdoch censoring all of my comments to news items. Even comments like "Well done". No free speech = no subscription. They tried to offer me a discounted subscription for 6 months as a bribe. What for?

no more new from CM – I have subscriptions from them for 1 year or 52 weeks, I cancelled my subscription 1 week before the contract finished and they cut my access even though I still have 1 more week to accessed it, which I already paid.

Bad newspaper – Been having the Courier Mail delivered for over 40 years. The Paper is now only Adds and no news. When problems arise you are fobbed of by staff and nothing happens but the price of the paper dose.

Do not subscribe because unsubscribing will be time consuming and difficult – Courier Mail deserves all the 1 star feedbacks it gets. Maybe one of your journalists should write a story on the difficulty of unsubscribing from the digital version. I was happy to subscribe and unsubscribe and likey subscribe again later when or if I wanted but now - never, ever again. Horrible, desperate behaviour in making it difficult to unsubscribe from payments.

Pathetic delivery "Service" – Have only had ONE newspaper delivered out of 6 Saturdays! Disgusting service. I've had to phone 5 times and asked for an explanation. Just get the platitudes. to give them a piece of my mind. No one will give me any reason. Tried to cancel Saturday Courier Mail, but I will also need to cancel the Sunday Mail. I don't wish to do this as it is only Saturday paper that is not being delivered. We have subscribed to all papers for over 40 years. This is a disgraceful way to treat customers. They should be totally ashamed of this "service". Go back to using local newsagents to deliver the papers -- this worked well. Stop bothering with "survey" feedback and read real comments that don't full into line with your biased surveys.

Awful – Absolutely shocking, I paid around $4 to read one article and then $43 over couple of weeks was taken from my bank account, the only way to cancel subscription is to call which left me sitting on hold for ages, the lady I spoke to was nice and understanding, I know she is just doing her job but the business is just money hungry, would absolutely not recommend signing up

Aggressive business tactics – I signed up to read an article, but canceling turned out to be a nightmare. Initially, the online sign-up process was smooth, but canceling required a phone call. SCHOOL TEACHERS SAFETY A very one sided view – The courier mails story about the the teachers and their safety is very biased the teachers want protection but your child is not allowed and and can freely walk out of school grounds without anyone noticing and not be liable or give answers to why a minor is able to do that.If you are going to write a story make sure you do your homework on School Staff as well instead of making it one sided story.

Racing form guide – The racing form guide format this week is the worst I have seen. Each main metropolitan meeting should have its own pull out guide (NSW, Victoria & QLD) The guides continually get worse every year. Whoever is in charge of the format should be sacked.
