Best way to quickly poach eggs! – I received a set of three Crackin' Egg cups for my birthday last month. I have been using them quite frequently to make excellent poached eggs, and just tried the scrambled eggs this morning using the larger cup. The poached eggs take about 45 seconds in my Panasonic 1100-watt microwave (Canada) and are perfect every time. Amazing products that make breakfast quick and simple!

Second degree burns! – We just got home from a burn trauma center 2 hours away where our daughter was transported via ambulance after the egg exploded in her face causing severe second degree burns with burns up her nose and in her eyes. Terrible! Horrible! Don't do it!

Dollar Tree for the win! – Got on these for a buck at Dollar Tree and tried it out immediately. Worked like a charm. Didn't try the poached recipe because raw egg is gross, but it hard boiled my egg in 45 seconds, perfectly. Great buy, would buy again!

Perfect every time! – I think this does not get good reviews because people do not know how to make a scrambled egg in the microwave.I used 1 large egg and 1 tbl of milk. You have to whisk the egg and milk together so that there are little air bubbles. This is what makes the eggs fluffy. Cook on high 20 seconds. Take it out of the microwave and stir then back in the microwave for 30 seconds. Perfect every time!

Waste of money – Returned to store for $1 refund. Product definitely not BPS free. At first bite i could taste the plastic. Back to the dollar store it went. Don't waste your money.

Great product, loved it – Worked fine for what I needed it for. I poached eggs with it just fine. At work I'm going to do the scrambled eggs since I don't have time to stop in the morning for breakfast.

Dangerous – Followed instructions to the second and ended up with second degree burns. Opened lid to see the egg and it exploded in my face. Very lucky I wear glasses. Won't be using again. Especially my children.

I've read the instructions and it's just not right! – When poaching it always is runny white and overcooked yolk. scrambled is fine. But eggs don't cook that great in the microwave anyway. go with the kmart egg cooker electric. much nicer taste. purchased them on holidays but would have been better to use boiling water

Works great – Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. It must be the microwaves people are using. It works well. Perfectly cooked eggs every time. 45 seconds in the microwave is all it takes. My favourite is poached.

Don't expect to poach eggs in it – I wish I'd read these reviews before buying my Crackin Eggs. I followed the instructions EXACTLY, even piercing the yolks. After 40 secs the top of the egg looked a little overdone, so I turned the pot over, gave it a shake to release the egg, and splat: runny whites from the bottom all over my toast. The second one I did for longer. I got dry yolk and still some gooey, clear whites. Don't bother :(

Amazing Easter Present – My step mum brought these for myself, my three siblings and my boyfriend. We used them as soon as we got them and we tried poaching and scrambled with bacon and we didn't find one issue with it. We found these amazing and quitck to do in such a busy house.

Love it. Best thing ever – I love this. Cooks eggs perfect. My mum kept one as there were 2 for poached eggs and 1 for scrambled. She hates cooking and she said she wishes she had this sooner. Love love

Wish I checked reviews first – Simply it's a lie. Won't cook the egg good enough to eat. Always raw and over cooked at the same time. Feel like I've been robbed!! Some people have no shame in selling rubbish

It works! – So I bought my 'Crackin' Eggs' from my local spotlight store PRIOR to reading user reviews. Had a mini freak out when I read everyone saying it was a piece of junk...well, wasn't I pleasantly surprised when I used it the following morning for my egg on toast! I followed the directions to a T, made sure my microwave was set to the correct power and… Read more

viola! Perfectly scrambled egg in 50 seconds!

Do not believe the negative reviews - I honestly think people who had a bad experience have not read the instructions!

Definitely worth the buy! Now I can have a scambled egg on toast at work every morning!

Eggs are not cooked – Put the egg in for 45 seconds when it started to pop..took egg out..way too overcooked on top, raw on the bottom..no way you can get the egg yolk runny like in video...havent tried scrambled egg in it yet though..

Waste of money - Don't buy it! – For me mornings are hectic with preparation for school and work so imagine my delight when I saw a commercial claiming to save time when cooking eggs (which we do everyday!)! Breakfast could be made a little easier. I discovered that I have not only wasted my money but my time! I had to clean the microwave after the first egg we did exploded all over my microwave. We only put it in for 40 seconds too! Don't buy it.

Do not buy this product – This product is terrible. The eggs come out dry on top and raw on the bottom. Total waste of money. Good on you Big w for selling this rubbish. The only people that write good things about this product work for the company.

Put your money in the bin – TERRIBLE! Do not waste your time and money. Crackin eggs is rubbish. Over cooked on top raw on bottom. They are packaged in a way that makes it impossible to get them out without destroying the package, why? Because if you could put it back in the box then everyone would return it for a refund! Do not believe the lies of people who say this… Read more

product works! It doesn't! If you want to try out crackin eggs, you can have mine. Just head down to the tip, it's there with a dozen ruined eggs. Total waste of money and eggs!

Useless – The eggs were runny on the bottom so I put it back for a bit extra and it was still runny on the bottom and dry on top. Had so much trouble getting lids on and off and ended up sending them to the tip.

This is useless. Read my review for a much better way! – You cannot poach an egg with this thing as advertised. It's impossible to find the right balance between a fully cooked egg white and runny yolk. So I thought I would try a different method which has just made me a perfect microwaved poached egg. If you would like to save yourself some money all you really need is a large plastic bowl, some… Read more

vinegar, a kettle, boiling water, something to stir and 20-40 seconds in the microwave.

1. Crack your egg into a cup and boil the kettle.

2. Add a few splashes of vinegar to the bowl.

3. Fill the bowl with boiling water as quickly as possible.

4. Give the water a rapid stir to create a whirlpool effect.

5. Pour the egg into the centre of the bowl and allow the white to form around the yolk.

6. Cover the bowl and cook in the microwave for 20-40 seconds.

7. Lift out with a big spoon, drain, and enjoy a REAL poached egg.

The bottom is always raw :-/ – I thought these would be a quick way to poach eggs. I thought there would have to be a bit of experimenting to work out the suitable cooking time for our microwave, but its seems there is no suitable time. They are ALWAYS raw on the bottom or overcooked. They need to somehow be flipped half way, but due to the shape of the container you can't as the raw white always naturally falls to the bottom.

A little disappointed – The cooking times don't seem to be accurate, I tried to do a poached egg in the time specified and the egg yolk was still half clear( raw), put it back in for a little longer which then over cooked the yolk but the white was still runny, this product doesn't do everything it claims

Fantastic little tool, perfect eggs every time!!! – Just saw this product at BigW as I was passing by. We love poached eggs in my household, but they rarely turn out the way they should. We also tried those little silicon cups that float in the water, but no success. Crackin' Eggs was $15 for a pack of three cups (2 small ones and a larger one), so I thought I'd give it a try. I must say, I am… Read more

pleasantly impressed - the egg was cooked perfectly in less than 1 minute! The cups have a double wall so they are easy to handle when the egg is hot and only have three components, which make it super easy to clean and assemble. The tiny little bit of egg residue once cooked comes off without scrubbing (you could just wipe it off!) and egg can be eaten straight from the cup too. Another plus, components are BPA free and there is a little recipe/instruction booklet that comes with the pack. $15 very well spent!!
