Good antenna – One thing everyone has to realize: when there is no signal even the best antenna wouldn't help. This antenna, thanks for its amplifier, picks fairly weak signal and works best in situation when there are no big obstructions (like hills) between it and TV tower. In my situation it picked up all Channel7 and SBS programs. Others were pixelated. I suspect it was because of my house tin roof. Once put outside on patio everything worked OK.

Might work for you...but did not work for me – I purchased this with the hope that it would be an alternative to getting an outdoor antenna installed. Unfortunately, when I plugged it in and scanned channels, I only got 1 channel. So, I had to return it. If purchasing, just make sure they have a good return policy in case it doesn't work for you.

Very good reception! – I was using Crest A4000 with my new Samsung HD LED TV and was not happy with the reception. As soon as its gets windy outside, the picture scrambles. After changing my indoor antenna to Crest CIDA12, picture was always clear on any weather. I bought it for $79.95 at Harvey Norman CX but later on found one online (techbuy.com.au) which sells it cheaper. I live in Marryatville SA. Very good reception
