how long can u keep a ctek xs 0.8 hooked up to ur bike. does a ctek multi xs3600 do the same job as the 0.8 being the 3600is a fair bit older

I only put it on once every two weeks, overnight. To keep the battery topped up.

do you need to disconnect battery leads from vehicle while charging?

The manual has no specific instruction in this regard but since it's a "smart" charger, I haven't been removing the battery leads and haven't had any problems.
