I can only get it to work via wifi – Yep waste of money can't get it to work unless I disconnect my phone from the modem and connect directly to skyfi via blue tooth. This means I can only use it at home. Installer was no help nor was Daikin. Save $2000 not worth it.
Customer support is abysmal – Don't buy this optional extra on your air conditioner unless you want to spend days of your life trying to change your WiFi and/or modem settings, oh and by the way Daikin can't really tell you exactly what it is about your settings that need changing! I got this installed 2 weeks ago and eventually after an angry email to Daikin they sent out someone to fix it- who admitted he knew very little about computers!!! And then wasted 90 mins in my house- BUT IT'S STILL NOT WORKING. Apparently it's now up to me to ring Apple/Thompson/iprimus in an endless chain of pain until something works!!! Completely crap.
