accountability. I was offered a generous $10 compensation… if I agreed to continue waiting indefinitely for a product that, spoiler alert, never arrived.
Apparently, the delay was the courier’s fault—because nothing says great customer experience like blaming someone else and asking the buyer to be the patient one.
Eventually, after repeatedly asking for a resolution, I was refunded the exact amount I paid. No compensation for the time I spent chasing them, no acknowledgement of the exhausting back-and-forth. Just the bare minimum, delivered with the warmth of a printer jam error message.
Let me be clear: A refund for a product that never arrived is not customer service. It’s compliance with basic consumer law. If you’re thinking of buying from Daily Plaza, ask yourself how much time you’re willing to waste chasing something you paid for.
Because if their bins are anything like their service… they don’t work.
Incorrect order – I received my order of 5 blinds measuring 3m x 2.5m but the boxes only measure 1.57 in length, so have received incorrect sizes. I have messaged but have not had a response. hours, asked for many photos & sent out a replacement which arrived several days later. So the company seems honest and well staffed.
The greenhouse is similar to Bunnings' greenhouses but with a cheaper quality plastic cover. It got a small rip near the zipper about 24hrs after setting it up (which was a breeze with 2 ppl even tho the instructions are lacking). That rip was easily patched with electric tape. I think the cover could be slightly bigger to better fit the frame so that it's not under constant strain. Many of the poles are a bit loose in their brackets/binding but again this is easily remedied with electrical tape & all of them did atleast fit. It's been nearly a fortnight since set-up & in this calm to moderate weather nothing else has gone wrong.
I don't think there's a better quality greenhouse on the market at this price. If I wanted a good quality greenhouse, I'd have splurged on something with a polycarbonate shell. This one has problems but they're all minor problems that I can fix myself.
