The most expensive pool cover is also the worst – Bought this very expensive cover (about 5 times the cost of solar covers) since it claimed to last a long time and provide good insulation - sounds great ... less microplastics and less energy. It has been absolutely hopeless. After 3 years the top layer started to delaminate, and now after almost 6 years it is completely unusable since the foam layer becomes waterlogged, causing the cover the sink. The 8 year warranty is useless since it is pro-rata, meaning it only gives the option of spending a whole lot more money to buy a new one that will be equally terrible.
