Awesome Toasty Warm Sleeping Bag – Took this sleeping bag to the Snowy Mountains in cold and snowy weather and was completely warm. I used to take 2-3 layers of sleeping bag/blankets whilst camping in cold weather but needed to economize on packing space so took the leap and purchased this cold weather sleeping bag. I was not disappointed at all. Packs up really compact, is well designed and most importantly was toasty warm when it was in -4 Celsius weather near Thredbo.

Purchased in for $128.

inferior materials the ratings for coldness way out – I bought the 1100m wide and there is no padding to support the ratings given of -12 I froze at 15% Collect dust on a daily use inside the house, not outside. The cotton material to thin.

Purchased in for $280.

Why buy anything else – This sleeping bag comes in both Canvas and Polyester ripstop 70D options as the outer shell. We bought the latter and love it to bits. We felt we didnt do any hard core camping trips or go where its utterly freezing or the Canvas option would have been perfect for that so if your planning on that kind of camping we suggest the Canvas one for sure. Just bare in mind itll be heavier and more expensive. Its zippered on both sides and the inner has a soft as silk feel to it while still maintaining the warmth factor. It packs and compresses down very well for something that feels so thick when you lye on top of it. Being 1400 wide its perfect for a larger person, someone wanting maxium room or a couple looking to sleep beside one another. It fits perfectly with the Big Daddy Deluxe Swag. We have used it on a recent trip where it was -5 in the morning and it kept us snuggly warm from head to toe. I tend to get hot quickly but this sleeping bag while it kept me warm allowed me to open my zip side to cool off while not affecting my partners warmth. Im 6ft9 and it fit me with ease length wise. Its also fantastic as a mattress topper in the hotter months. It has a head and neck warming area that can be pulled tight if needed. Purchased this with the intention of not needing another one for the next 10 years and believe it will last that long too. Any questions leave a comment or message me and ill reply....

Best sleeping bag I have owned – I purchased Darche Cold Mountain -12 degree sleeping bag recently and slept in it for 3 weeks while on holiday in June. It is the warmest, most comfortable sleeping bag I have slept in.
