Davey Chloromatic Salt Water Chlorinator

Overpriced Poor Quality Pool Chlorinators – Purchased the Davey MCS24C for $915 mid 2011. Operates very hot and in 2016, after warranty, the switches broke being brittle from the heat. By 2019, it no longer turned off. The system was installed in a cool garage and shaded. None the less, the high operating temperature it produces is going to limit their life. We got 5 years and a few months out of our system.

Pool is a 36000 litre inground pool where we had it operating at 70%.

Strongly suggest considering the cheaper models over this poor design.
