1 Lisa M.  · Rubbish. Sprays a mist of oil well for a few uses and then sprays one jet of oil after that. Completely useless.
1 Robyn S  · Sprays in a jet stream only. Not a 'fine mist'
1 Jayne R.  · Bottle shrunk – Oil sprayer bottle shrunk in the dish washer , unable to put top back on
1 Richo8486  · Squirt not Spray :-( – It doesn't mist spray it just squirts out oil. Total waste of money, wished I'd kept receipt to return
1 Willyeckerslike  · Not Good – This sprayer covers my hand in oil when activating it. Better off buying oil aerosol sprays.
1 Jane  · Useless – Sprayer just squirted one straight stream. Doesn't spray at all. Have tried all the suggestions by everyone. Still nothing. It's in the bin

Have spent more time cleaning the kitchen after using this product, as it sends out a spurt of oil and if your lucky it hits the food, or goes over the top and lands on the kitchen bench or tiles. The mist has never worked so, it really is a useless article. Cannot even give it one star. Show details

Follow-up  · I spray it into the frypan close up so there is very little that escapes! Other than that it doesn’t get used, when it’s empty it will go to the back of the pantry and not be used again, or into the dustbin! Depends on how I feel about it on the day. I used virgin olive oil in it, was reasonable to fill, never clogged, but then it never misted, and would shoot a metre away from the food it was supposed to hit!

Having bought many Decor products in the past, I’ve been quite pleased with them but really this is a piece of rubbish. First one lasted 12 months and then stop misting and just shot a jet of oil. Could find no way of fixing it so I bought a second. Oh dear! This only lasted 3 months before it failed. Foolishly bought a third one and it doesn’t… Read more

even spray. It such a potentially useful product but is hopeless in its current form. Don’t waste your money!

This new version of the previous oil spray bottle is faulty! It does not spray it squirts the oil out. I've raised this with the company and ,as stated in other reviews, they are abrogating responsibility for the deficient produce onto the user, they even sent me a video on how to use it, which didn't change anything. I didn't need that video with… Read more

my original purchase. Don't purchase this product it doesn't work and the velocity of the oil when using a gas cooktop is DANGEROUS!

Really, really, really bad – Second time purchasing at half price, thinking the first one was faulty. Does not mist, or even spray, more of a solid stream, blast of oil. The video doesn't show its true range. Definitely can't use it. A big mess maker and a hazard near gas flames. Show details

New model not spraying – New model not spray, straight jet stream. Old model was marvelous until broke, but this new model is crap, unusable.

It stopped working but I think I've worked out why – After a few uses, this unit became a nuisance in that it would give one good spray and then ... a whimper. I had arranged to return it for a replacement but when I took it apart for cleaning prior to return I saw that the mesh filter at the bottom of the oil uptake seemed clogged. Once I gave it all a good clean (warm water plus dishwashing… Read more

liquid, then white vinegar, then clear water) it now seems to be working just fine. I imagine the filter may clog up again (?) but now I know that once I clear the filter, the unit will probably work just fine. I'm thinking that sitting the whole unit in warm water prior to use, or maybe running the filter part under very hot water (to loosen up the oil) might facilitate ease of use (?). I don't think using the unit (which is, after all, designed to spray food oil of no particular variety) should be this difficult but I don't know whether a different brand of oil sprayer would perform any better, so I'll stick with this one for now and hope that I've worked out how best to use it. Good luck with yours!

Waste of money – I bought one of these after using a family members. Wondering how we never knew they existed before, I was excited to get one! But ours was terrible!! Sprays like a single jet, not a mist unless you spray it quite forcefully - in which case, the "mist" you get is also quite forceful. I called the company. The first lady was lovely and sent out… Read more

a replacement - but they were the same. When I called the second time, the lady was dead set saying I didn't clean it well enough before using it. Well, I went home and cleaned the replacement ones as per the instructions and it made no difference (no big surprise).

I know our family member's one had a small white canister inside, screwed down from the roof part. When I called decor, the lady advised this is a "very old" model... but where it screws in to is still there (and some of the online photos still shows it in place). Not sure if this is what's making the difference, but either way, I'm so disappointed!! Feedback was they removed it because it was too hard for people to clean.

Great idea, poor make.

Hopefully they can improve the design for the future.

Love it – Best spray bottle for oil ever. Don’t know why some people are saying it doesn’t work - ours is perfect. we’ve tried many versions before and perhaps this one is an updated one but its amazing. Show details

Healthier option to commercial oil spray cans – Healthy because you are using oil straight from the bottle, hopefully Australian extra virgin olive oil, this does away with all the additives that are in the spray cans and you end up using way less oil than you do straight from the bottle. Also better for the environment. Easy to use as mentioned by 5 star reviews below. Read the instructions… Read more

on washing first. Probably why Kay below had problems. Wonder whether you could put water or home made cleaning products in this? (Looks like the one Koh use for their product) My husband says no because it's designed for oil? Anyway I love it. Half price at Woolies atm!

GREAT - there is NO liner in my version – I think the version was updated because I bought mine 18mths (?) ago and there is NO LINER and the top locks on OK. It sprays fine - in a flat fan which is just what you want. If you are tentative in your spraying then you WILL get a jet (mentioned by a reviewer here) - just be BOLD! Occasionally I get a bit of a dribble from the nozzle down the front but nothing too much. Reusable, no spray cans and NO smell like the pressure packs. Show details

Finally figured out how to get it to spray mists (eg filling at last half a bottle of oil and fast/hard presses on trigger for mists) after watching the video on decor’s website. It was initially spraying jet streams like many reviewers. Show details

Terrible. Purchased 2 thinking first was faulty. Turns out it sprays in a jet. Was trying to mist eggplants while in pan for even application of oil. Ended up using 4x the amount of oil as the jet would just spray and absorb directly into select bits of the eggplant and cooking unevenly. Spraying the jet onto the pan then smearing the eggplant… Read more

onto the oil was more effective. Then again, that's the same as pouring it from the oil bottle directly, without the added nuisance of the oil dripping down the spray handle onto your hands lol.

Useless product.

Completely useless – Bought brand new a week ago. Filled it with oil and, first time, comes out as a stream and oil drips down onto the hand. This is a replacement for my first one, that worked well for a couple of years. Have tried everything to make it work, cleaning etc but it doesn’t change anything. Don’t waste your money! Show details

Decor Fine Mist Oil Sprayer doesn't spray at all, doesn't work. Waste of time – Bought this today and it won't spray at all. Absolute rubbish and I'll be going back for a refund. Don't waste your time buying this piece of junk. Show details

Unusable rubbish product – No mist or spray like the old one this replaced. This blasts a jet of oil which bounces off the pan onto the wall. I tried squeezing as gently as possible and it just runs down the bottle. Got a replacement, same thing. Decor used to have good products but I’ll be avoiding the brand now. They sell garbage. Show details

Doesn’t spray nicely – Rubbish sprayer….waste of money Oil comes out in one long squirt and it doesn’t spray/mist. Because it comes out so harsh you get oil residue all over the bench. Don’t bother with this product. Show details

Garbage – This is crap and don’t waste your money on it. Just buy a normal sprayer from Bunnings or any other place. The fine spray would be great if it actually dose it but it’s just a one stream squirt if you know what I mean like a water pistol . Show details

Waste of money – This Decor oil sprayer is such a let down compared to all their other products. Mine has never screwed together tightly enough or kept in place. (Unless you use 2 hands while spraying. ) I had just poured new olive oil in and sprayed my food on my board when it dropped apart and spilled all over my kitchen floor. Expensive loss in quality olive… Read more

and took me to clean up off the floorboards. I should get a refund but have not kept cardboard or receipt from Woolworths. My daughter said she looked at them and I told her to steer clear as they are useless.

Decor oil sprayer – I’m not sure what to do. It sprays only a single stream and it flows down the front which means every time I pick the bottle up my fingers at the front will get oily. Annoying. I don’t have the packaging but I do have a receipt from Woolies. Not sure if I can return it. Show details

Dreadful product – I washed this sprayer before use but because of the double wall it was impossible to drain the soapy water out, even after standing it upside down for four days. What a ridiculous design! Show details

It sure does work! – This kitchen oil sprayer really works. I even buy them as gifts. Sprays or squirts depending on force used to activate. Throw away oil pressure packs. Use the oil of your choice. Sometimes a 50% off special at Woolies. Show details

How to refill sprayer bottle with internal lining/bag – If you're having trouble with the bag 'sucking in' and can't refill it properly - when empty and ready to refill, blow inside with a hair dryer on high heat for a minute or so. Works perfect! You're welcome :)

works fine, good value – I see some can't get a nice spray effect. Tip! If using olive oil, remember the viscosity(thickness) changes with temperature.Keep bottle at room temp. Do not put in fridge. Big tip. Open the bottle top after each use to allow pressure to normalize, got this tip from a top Italian made sprayer-much more expensive.  Show details

Seems fine, durability is the unknown – just purchased on recommendation from a friend. Was easy to wash and clean out. Sprays fine, not sure where the bag/ lining is that people mention on here or it's just a new design and done away with it since I can't see why you would need it. Says dishwasher safe also Show details
