Decor Reva Assorted Clothes Pegs

Once these were the best pegs available, over the last maybe 5 years they are now rubbish. Fall apart. Absolute rubbish.

These pegs are NOT strong hold. They should remove this statement from the front of the packet as it is incorrect. They are not strong enough and no where as good as they used to be when made in Australia I have been using REVA pegs for as long as I can remember (30-40 years). Originally made in Australia and incredibly strong hold. Their name is no longer REVA australia but REVA Decor and are no longer made in Australia but in China.

The last packet bought (in the last year) are rubbish compared the the older pegs made in Australia.

They advertise strong hold which is just not true.

I have old clothes pegs that are over 10 years old made by the original REVA Australia that still hold better than these new ones

I have had the metal clip/spring slip where the plastic then becomes misaligned and often when putting pegs back on the line when taking items off they pop off and fall on the ground as they don't grip well. Also notice on the occasional peg rough or sharp bits of plastic which could damage delicate clothing

They make it difficult for heavy and bulky items such as sheets and large towels, heavy work wear etc. I often have to use one or two pegs to secure the item because if you pull just a bit on it the peg it will flick off. The original Australian made product used to be able to hold a large amount of weight with a single peg – no longer possible

They have obviously cheapened the manufacturing and reduced the quality when taking it offshore

I have written this review because using them makes me incredibly frustrated when a once good product fails and make the simple task of hanging out washing an irritation because I am continually have to pick up clothes pegs that pop off and land on the ground or need to use 2-3 times as many pegs to hang up items that only required a several once before

I would no longer recommend this product and am looking for a better peg
