Terrible product – My Denton bench top cracked being wiped down. Dekton inspected said could be impact damage but couldn’t prove (because it wasnt) plus don’t cover cracks. Don’t instal, do your research
expensive and extremely fragile – We have just completed our reno and decided to use dekton for our kitchen bench in main area and butler pantry we spent $15000 and I must say that I was impressed by the way it looks very very nice but coming to practice the nightmare started it chips at minimum contact we already have repairs 2 times in 4 months and tonight again another chip and I am here writing stay away from this product it is expensive and extremely fragile.
Dekton Benchtop cracking – This benchtop is terrible... My wife and I were renting an apartment which had Dekton Aura 12mm benchtop installed... My wife was baking a pasta bake and as she pulled ou the oven bake from the oven and placed it onto the benchtop it cracked leaving a large piece of the Dekton to fall off... Dekton denied warranty as they do not cover cracks to the surface ... Buyers beware the durability of Dekton is not what it has been marketed to be. It is practically like a porcelain tile...any impact and it will crack
