Spot on – I’ve had my Green Mason DimondBack since new (8 yrs) never had a problem with it l ride on mild bike tracks and around town put new tyres on it plus a softer seat still looks like I bought it yesterday gr8 bike. Show details
Poor rear axles and bearing – Have had to return the bike twice now to failing rear axles after riding not even 10kms on a footpath Front calliper adjustment was over tightened by whoever put it together hence no adjustment Absolute rip off of a bike and would not recommend it to anyone! Very unhappy with the bike Show details
No surprise bike has issues – Positives Solid frame, disc brakes, Dual suspension, quick fire gear change Negative Wheels buckle easily, gears jump and are clunky on a trail. Play in the crankshaft. But for $300. You can’t expect it to perform like a Trek or giant. Im enjoying riding this bike. Once i get the play out of the crankshaft
This bike does everything I want it to! – The bike is amazing for everything I need it's a great bike to commute to school with I got it off a kid I go to school with cheap and it jumps so easy it takes the gutters like they're nothing and it is very fast for an 18 speed bike! I love it does clunk into the next gear on occasion Show details
Absolutely meh – It’s okay, I mean it goes forward but everything is done pretty budget and whoever put mine together needs a slap. Must say though, cheap as chips and the colour is banging Show details
Suspension and drops – Hey for some reason the front suspension just THUDS When you lift it and the rear suspension just doesn’t move over all I love the bike but the shifters and suspension need work but I love it’s it’s really sleek good job! oh and what would be the biggest drop you could send and what’s it like on trails Show details
bit of a waste of money – I bought 1 about 9months ago and have not bee at all happy the back bearing have just been trouble the whole time and the gear selector snapped of and my chain fell apart Show details
Good bike but some cheaper components – Purchased the bike just after Christmas. Liked the look of the bike and the price was good also. I usually ride between 15-20 k on a ride usually paths and easy tracks. Have run up about 160k in the few weeks I have had it. Overall very impressed however derailer has started failing as a result of being pressed metal. I have been unable to get it to align correctly with it skipping gears constantly now.
Great Value Dual Suspension Bike – Got the bike from BigW mainly because I loved the frame. When I got it home the frame is indeed fantastic as I thought - full alloy including the rear and really well made with top quality paintwork - wheels are also alloy and tyres are good. The other parts are average but not too bad considering the price point - the gears are SIS and has disc… Read more
brakes. Seat is a bit hard but you can pick up a better seat at the store or on ebay for $20. Then you have a top notch looking bike still for around $300. Look around for a dual suspension bike with disc brakes anywhere else and you are paying at least double - this bike for me was great value.
Diamondback mason 27.5 – ok so iv had the Diamondback mason 27.5 for about 2 months and the bike is great all the parts a cheap but the frame looks great but im not 100% on the suspension and think its a ripoff of the real Diamondback brand then i use the front brake it looks like the front fork bends
