These patty pans smell horrific! I didn’t realise till I put the muffins in oven and the heat got to the pans, then the revolting chemical dusty smell went through my kitchen. Too scared to eat them and the muffins stuck to the paper as well! With the cost of living as it is, I can’t afford to throw out the cakes. Disgusting Coles! Show details
Tastes like petroleum – We had to throw our cakes out because of the foul smell while baking. Smelled like a heavy petroleum product.
Disgusting smell – I didn’t notice the smell of the patty pans so I put them in oven with batter in them and then this horrible smell started wafting through the kitchen. I went and smelt the patty pans in the packet and there was a disgusting smell. So not only did they smell horrible I’m now down 24 cakes for kid’s school lunches cause who on earth would risk using them. Not happy
Terrible – Dollar Sweet Coloured Muffin Cases are Totally useless I Could not remove the mini muffins from the moulds without them being destroyed due to them sticking to them. Very annoyed Show details
Awful strong chemical smell like a dusty warehouse – Really annoyed I purchased these, all ready to start baking for a child's birthday and opened these to the most awful smell. I didn't use them as I was concerned it would be dangerous for children. Show details

Smells Rancid – Went to use these today, but when I opened the packaging, all I could smell was a terrible odour - like rancid oil. I didnt even bother using them and used a different brand instead Show details
Stinks !! – I purchased 2 packets of mini size coloured patty pans and 1 packet small size containing 100 pc each. When I took their lids off, a disgusting smell came from inside. I'm not sure if it is a chemical smell or not. I wasn't game to use them, as I thought the smell might effect the taste of the cakes and also may not be healthy. This product ruined my cupcakes – I make cupcakes a lot and usually use another brand which at this time was out of stock and this Dollar Sweet brand was all that was left so I purchased it. They were a bit more expensive but pretty and you don't think cupcake moulds would cause problems anyway. I baked my cakes as usual and left them. complained that they couldn't remove the cake from the mould. The paper stuck to each cake so hard had to scoop the cake out with spoons. I know this seems minor, but if you bake for special occasions then this product will ruin your cakes.
