Downy Fabric Softener

Works good if you can open it! – Good product once you get the bottle open. The machine that applies the lid needs to be adjusted. It shouldn't take a pipe wrench to open. I'm sure older people have a really hard time opening the bottle. Product works good.

must be about half perfume-- gave me a headache – I used to love the old Downy "April fresh" very faintly fragranced. But, you could not smell anything when you wore the clothes. That was ideal. NOW Downy is so heavily perfumed it literally makes me sick. And the unscented Downy is always sold out so I switched to dryer sheets. Bad decision Downy

Fill the bottles up! – I only like one scent of this brand fabric softener.. Yeah, the bottle is an awkward shape, but who really cares. I care that the bottle isn’t even filled half way!! Why? There are sooo many better fabric softeners out there. With this one, I usually just pour some in a spray bottle and fill the rest with water and use it as a fabric spray..

Thought I’d try it - not again – The bottle looked weird with an akward hole in the middle and because it had so much foreign writing on it. Why? Still can’t work that out. Could only read 1/3 of what it said. It smelt ok in store. Won’t be buying it again, though. The competitors‘ smell and softness on laundered clothes is far better, in my opinion.
