Perhaps it was better before it was 'NEW IMPROVED ...' ?! Far too much frothing which caused a drainage fault in my front loader: The very problem it's supposed to fix! This has NEVER happened with any other washing machine cleaners I have used. Zero stars; will never use again. (FYI: The Magic Wash one on the receipt works beautifully)

Positive. As I expect. I followed the instructions to the letter – I put moste of the bottle into the Maine wash compartment drawer of my whirlpool wfwdc96 combo and set it on 2.5 hour 60°C washed. After an hour I noticed the machine was atill tumbling with suds but shortly afterwards the rinse cycle kicked in and the door window looked sparkling without any condensation. The jet with this product is to not use it on cold cycle because that will leave suds as the product won't dissolve fully. At the end of the cycle I noticed a fresh scent as I opened the door and the machine looked and smelled clean and isn't that the whole idea.
I noticed that be suds during the wash had gotten into the seal so that gave me a reassuring feeling.
Well worth the product for its bacterial cleansing.
Never had to do this as I was always using top loaders but the front loader allows me to wash and dry in one go. Very handy
The remainder of the bottle, perhaps a cap full is used on a sponge to wipe down the door seal with door open and any other surfaces that may be soiled. I recommend this product for price and effectiveness but don't use a cold wash!

This alerted me to what happens to the water drum (not the laundry drum) if descaling is not regularly performed. You cannot see this drum unless you dismantle the machine. That is the main reason for using this machine cleaner; descaling, not smell removal. Your washing machine should not smell if it is left open when not in use so as to prevent mould developing from stagnant water.
Coffee machines will advise you when it is time to descale but you will have to discipline yourself to descale your washing machine at least every six months. Also use this cleaner on your door seals. The product’s directions advise this.

was disgusting) remove the plastic soap tray and clean in the sink. then look inside the area were you removed the soap dish checking if it needs cleaning with the cloth.then put the soap tray back in . Empty all the bottle into the normal soap tray area and set the machine to 60 degrees. With a empty machine and no soap left in the tray or tub turn the machine on. when the cycle is finished open then washing machine door and pull out soap dish and let dry for 24 hours. Don’t use it as It will create issues with your washing machine – I bought it as it was on special at Wollies , I followed the instructions very straight forward) and used it in my front loader washing machine and it made so much foam ! 2 rinse cycles after that to clear it and since then it hasn’t worked as usual and stopped a few times while doing my normal washing. I Used Dettol and Pine Clean washing machine cleaners in the past with no issues. I called the company (polish brands) and have also sent an email with pictures explaining the issue but no response so far….
Best product on the market – Having a family of 9 im constantly washing. You wouldn't think that a washing machine would get that dirty but oh boy was I wrong. This is a great product! – I have used Dr. Beckmann's Washing Machine Cleaner several times. My washing machine gets a regular workout with my husband's dirty work clothes, grandchildren's clothes, etc., and if I haven't cleaned my machine for a while, sometimes I find dirty marks on the clothes after I've washed them. Best washer cleaner I’ve found – Had not deep cleaned our washing machine ever - 3 years since new. Used the vinegar in the wash but not all that effective. Put a bottle of Dr Beckmann through a hot cycle yesterday. The water drained black with large pieces of mould and grunge in it. Fantastic result. Will do this every three months now. Show details
Excellent – Removes the scunge that builds up in the door seal and eliminates odours. The first time I used a whole bottle to give the machine a good clean, now I just use about an eigth of a bottle once a week on a drum clean cycle. Keeps the machine looking and smelling nice. Show details

countless other cleaners wouldn’t. No horrible smells or fumes and gentle on the hands. ( would still wear gloves though) Only used a small amount to do the full shower so is very cost effective. One bottle has cleaned my machine and 2 showers with a little left over. Will not use anything else on my shower now. Have now converted my daughter from her shower cleaning product she buys online.

Cleans well – My washing machine cannot use hot water so I can not judge very well. It did a good job and seems to clean the machine throughly. The smell in machine has gone away. If I used hot water I believe it would do a better job. Overall happy with the result.
Was the only thing that dissolved what was similar to caked mud in filters – I never thought I was going to be able to dissolve what seemed caked mud in the filters of a washing machine at my rented apartment. Nothing softened it and brown flakes of something would be on my clothes at the end of the washing cycle. Found this product and soaked the two filters for an hour, the hard caking dissolved and after a brush with a toothbrush the filters are nearly like brand new. A nice fresh smell too.
