Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Greedy Company( NUANCE) – No warning that there is limit for product activation, when my laptop needed reset did not allow me to uninstall the software. When I reinstalled the software it says I have exceeded activation limits. I have contacted Nuance Support and they reply that the product which is only less than five years old now is a legacy and support now is obsolete! I won't give it even half a star very disappointing company never trust them ever.
Not that great - hardly worth the effort, let alone the money – I have had Dragon Naturally Speaking in use now for 5 months. I initially purchased to assist my writing and make journalling much faster. I am a good touch typist; I wanted more speed and less use of my hands. From the start it has been fairly useless in that it is very inaccurate. I have persisted believing that accuracy would improve but it hasn't. Below is an example 5 months down the track - this was the opening paragraph, what followed was a little more personal and far worse as I spoke more naturally. In fact, I had to re-write the whole thing without the stupid program. Needless to say, I don't use it much now. Very frustrating! By the way, I am a teacher and public speaker so my voice and diction are fine. It may be useful for American speakers, but don't even think about getting it if you have anything close to Queens English! At $300 a shocking waste of money, let alone the time I have wasted fixing its errors.
