I brought my sons driglo beach towel 2 years ago. The towel itself is still great but the white is now a dirty grey after being washed with tank water. I've tried everything to get it back to its original white with no success. Any suggestions please

Wish I knew. I bought mine from Harris Scarfe NSW and this particular brand is rubbish, which is a shame as it used to be excellent

They say they're a "high quality cotton" Australian product( transparent and non-drying so I highly doubt they're cotton) but they're Made In India Isn't that false advertising?

I bought 4 dri-glo towels, l have washed two of them twice and all the side stitching has come undone no one lam hoping the others don’t do the same, was so disappointed with the quality

Hi Christeen Our Dri Glo towels also had some parts of the seams come apart plus lots of little threads in the towels themselves have kept coming out so they have to be cut off. The towels are terrible ours have been washed numerous times and they still do not dry properly. Do not feel like cotton more like nylon or some synthetic.

A very bad buy for us as we bought four sets for the two of us.

We have had Dri Glo luxe towels for over 10 years. They are only now disintegrating. I t is a pity we cannot buy the same quality made in Australia. Thanks for the heads up Will keep looking !!

Likewise, thanks for the heads-up re deteriorating quality. I've had a set for years that are only now coming apart at the seams after much hard use. I was looking to replace them with the same brand but it seems globalisation has wreaked its usual havoc on quality. Sad.

I have bought two sets of Dri-glo towels and they do not dry properly. I have tried rinsing them in vinegar six times in the final rinsing cycle and six times have used bicarb soda in the final wash ( I did not use vinegar and bicarb soda together in the same wash cycle). Have you any suggestions to make them absorbent - I am very disappointed in how they do not dry properly - they slide over the skin.

Hi Brian We bought Dri- Glo towels some time ago and we have the same problems as you, they slide over your skin without drying. As we had bought two sets each we have tried to continue using them. Vinegar does not work we have tried that! The towels feel like they are made from a synthetic material not Australian Cotton as claimed. Ours also develop loose loops each time they are washed. They also tend to fray along the side seams which have to be cut off. They are expensive rubbish. The manufacturer has never contacted us even after our criticism earlier in this forum.
