Don't worry about how how long, worry about the fine print. For example the WA state manager stated under oath in court, "Just that we do state in our literature that cleaning with warm soapy water and detergent and a scrubbing brush for low pressure water, and that’s actually in our documentation." This was his reasoning for saying that my render warranty wasn't valid.....because I didn't clean it with warm soapy water and a scrubbing brush....it's a 2 storey house. Check the fine print for roofs and don't be surprised if they fight you if you ever make a claim. Also its interesting that they call it cool roof. They were fined by the ACCC for misleading cooling paint claims. external link .

Well Steve you were right about the reply from dulux, no warranty on fading just chipping or flaking??? I BET!!! Spoke to rep on phone, apparently our harsh climate is too much for Acra tex. he also sounded as if he was eating his lunch. LOL. Bash your head on brick wall.
