Tried to use it to do a crack repair on an internal wall. It was an absolute waste of money. It comes out so runny that you can only use it for down hand flat surfaces. You CANNOT use it for vertical or horizontal applications as it comes out like water and just runs everywhere. A very expensive product and a huge disappointment.

Dunlop Ardit Crack Filler. This crack filler is not worth the money. I was trying to fill in some cracks in the garage floor. I read all the instructions on the cartridge to make sure that I get the best result out of it. Now, the product that is coming out of the cartridge nozzle is almost as runny as water. It does penetrate the cracks very… Read more

well, but that is where it stops. Filling in the cracks, the product expands and bulges out of the cracks while doing so it is forming a lot of bubbles. When you cut or scrape off the bulge, you can see it has as many holes as a Swiss cheese. As the discharge of the cartridge came to the halfway mark, it didn't mix in the nozzle anymore. I did about 5.8 meters, and the product went off before I could finish the job. This is a terrible product, don't waste your money on it.

Terrible ugly yellow stain making crack stand out even more – Purchased from Bunnings and used as per directions on pack on a crack that ran though our driveway which is aggregate concrete. Dried an ugly bright yellow which now stand out and shows up the crack like a spotlight. Contacted Dunlop and they were no help at all. Very disappointed!

Waste of money – It bulges when dry and when trying to cut out the excess, it shows a lot a holes like honey comb. Bought it to fill air cracks in concrete, wasted a few hours and had to remove the material and rewash the surface. Waste of time and time.

horrible product – I used this product on my driveway, easy to apply but leaving air holes after dry discoloured from grey to yellow after 2 months so it looks awful I hope this comment will help the manufacturer to make a better one

Be Careful – Watched YouTube how to do it videos and read and followed instructions. Easy to guide the liquid into the crack, and when set it expanded above the surface. Air holes underneath were exposed when the excess was removed. No smooth finish. Had to use other filler to get a complete finish. Very disappointing for $38.

Great product, but follow instructions, and work quickly! – I purchased this filler for $38 with a single nozzle. Very expensive stuff but does result in an extremely solid fill. The big problem I had is that the mix began setting up within the nozzle within around 8mins of use, and my application was quite delicate - meaning I wasn't using it at a great rate. I ended up not noticing what was going wrong,… Read more

thinking I was getting to the end of the tube, but in actuality I was blocked in half of the nozzle! I notice too little too late though as all my fills after the blockage started happening came out at the wrong mix ratio and left me with a heap of oily holes with un-set filler floating inside... I was pretty annoyed by this. This was in the middle of summer during a sweltering hot day, so that would have been a contributing factor to the fast set time. I ended up buying a new set of nozzles to complete the job with the same tube. This is not recommended on the instructions, but I wasn't going to buy another $38 tube! This did allow me to complete my fills, even though it did eventually block the second nozzle in not time as well. I still have a few greasy fills which I'm hoping will be dissolvable with degreaser before I acid etch and paint the concrete. I can only recommend working quickly for the best application, and preferably not on a hot day! And keep an eye on blockages in your nozzle, and that your mix is flowing consistently. It also yellows a little after a few weeks, but who cares if you're painting over it.

If Dunlop is able to answer, will degreaser remove the clear un-set mix??

Expensive but works – It is expensive and hopefully someone else produces a similar product for less. It worked exceptionally well to fill and bond small cracks in my concrete. It sets so hard that I had to use a grinder to smooth out some pips. Otherwise being so runny the overflow leveled out nicely. Excellent for repairing fine cracks before painting or to prevent them getting bigger and allowing water to ingress.

This is Very Expensive and a very Poor Product – I recently purchased Ardit Crack Filler Dunlop to fill in a crack in the outside step. The product is not cheap $38 On following the instructions as per instruction and then applying the product to the crack the product started spewing out the sides of the cartridge and making a horrible mess. There has to be a better product on the market than this
