Connectivity Issues - Both Device and Software at Fault – Bought this product as the Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo had served me well for many years and I wanted to upgrade to a wireless solution. First please note that this labelwriter is *incompatible with Dymo v.8* software as the v.8's add network printer utility never was able to detect this printer. Having to move to the Dymo Connect software from the v.8 meant a more primitive user interface that sacrificed functionality for the sake of simplicity. It appears that they have just transferred the phone app and decided that would be sufficient for the desktop format as well. From brand new unboxing, the new printer setup wizard on the Dymo Connect Software AND the Dymo v.8 Software were both unable to detect this printer after it connected successfully to my wifi. Ended up on a 2 hour call with tech support which got some workaround functional by manually setting up the printer's IP address as a new printer. After a month or so using this workaround, in which the printer showed as 'Disconnected' on the software, however was able to print as it was in fact connected, a blackout turned off the wifi, meaning this printer would have to reconnect to the wifi network (something that my regular documents printer achieved without any intervention on my part, as it should be) this printer AGAIN is unable to connect to the local area network. I have tried the manual set up shown by tech support multiple times, turning off and on, full reset - however the DYMO Connect software provides little in terms of diagnosing and fixing driver/printer connectivity errors - even connecting with the USB cable, none of which work due to I suspect some issue with existing/residual driver files that DYMO Connect Software provides no way to delete for a completely fresh install. I have removed and uninstalled the printer software through Windows 10 multiple times yet the printer still will not connect. A bit of troubleshooting is to be expected, but when the product and software doesn't even provide the tools for effective troubleshooting - such as being able to remove printers from within the software, and even when full uninstalling and reinstalling of the software still results in a 'ghost' printer being shown within its printers list - is unreasonable .I am now on the search for a replacement after many hours wasted and will be moving away from DYMO due to their backwards step in software functionality with the v.8 to Connect and their inability to get the Dymo Wireless connected up to any of these software applications without frustration and time wasted.

Disappointing – This device is not seen by the Dymo Connect software (version 1.1 - Windows 10) when connected via wi-fi, only via the USB, which defeats the purpose of buying a wireless machine. I tried 2 different machines and experienced the same problem with both. I followed the setup instructions to the letter (several times), tried every bit of troubleshooting advice I could find, sought the help of Dymo support and never resolved the issue. Eventually just got a refund.

Dymo LabelWriter Wireless – The Dymo LabelWriter wireless label printer has recently become available in Australia. You press the WPS button on the back of it, then press the WPS button on your router to connect it to your network. It then becomes available to all devices in your network. Download the Dymo software of app from the AppStore. It contains lots of templates you can use, many of them unexpected. For instance, you can print adhesive name tags customized with a photo of your guest taken from your phone. Also prints barcodes, images (e.g. Fragile with broken glass logo). I ordered online from Amazon before they were available in Australia - wifi didn't work. I contacted Dymo in Melbourne. They had me send it to them, and replaced it in two days. Good service.Lady called Pam.
