Table is not finished to an acceptable level.
The table has a very rough surface with parts that have sharp bits sticking up. When you clean it with either a cloth or paper towel, it leaves fibers embedded on the surface of the table. Not sure how to remove those. Early Settler are refusing to assist, saying it’s “rustic” and suggest I put a coat of non-silicone lacquer on it. It’s going to take a significant amount of sanding to get a smooth surface, which means re-staining and then re-lacquering. Not happy.
