Ecology Skincare

My face had a combination of dry patches, emerging wrinkles and acne, a horror combination at 53. My best friend gave me a sample of Ecology, I soon used it all up and placed my first order shortly after. There is usually a promo running where some quite generous free gifts are included, I received a free mini moisturiser of my choice and a… Read more
wonderful microfibre make up removal cloth. The make up remover cloth was life changing, I don’t buy cleanser anymore, this is an amazing product. I have tried most of the moisturisers in the range now, my skin is smooth and healthy, no dryness no acne, I can’t say for sure but I suspect there is some kind of antibacterial or anti fungal property in the tallow or other active ingredients in these products because my long term acne has cleared up after many years of breakouts. Bear in mind, it has taken nearly a year of regular use to achieve the outstanding results evident in my face but I can personally vouch for the quality and efficacy of Ecology tallow creams, I will never stop using them. Another important factor in my recommendation is the texture, I have sensory issues and the sensation of “”normal” skincare on my face I found intolerable, with Ecology I can happily rub it all over my face without feeling anything but smooth comfortable skin. I have purchased many other products offered on the Ecology website, they have all been of high quality and of excellent value, from the make up remover cloths to wonderful tallow soap to cosmetic bags for travel, everything works exactly as it should, this is a trustworthy company to deal with.
Day/Night tallow moisturiser – Excellent quality product made with all natural ingredients. After experiencing ongoing dry skin on my face and trying lots of different products this is the only product that has worked and completely fixed my dry skin. I hadn't used tallow before and was a bit skeptical that it would be too greasy but it soaks in quickly and doesnt leave any residue.
Love it – Love it! My sensitive skin has been soaking it up. I have been using more than anticipated but that could just be due to the impact of winter and my skins dryness.
Thank You, from my face – I have really sensitive skin prone to itchy, stingy patches around my nose & on my chin. Also have broken capillaries around my nose from a long history of honking my nose. To top it all off the 'meany-paws' has blessed me with hormonal breakouts. Tried the trial sizes of repleneshing cream, twice & then committed to a walloping big tin. I've… Read more
stopped using the cortisone cream from the doctor & now just use the replenishing cream. I still use my serum before putting on my moisturiser & my skin is calm, clear, supple & moisturised without being gluggy or greasy. I love warming it up in my fingers & then patting it on/in. I use it on my face, neck and that French area that's decollatage, also known as the front of my chest ices! If I still have any left on my hands I rub into the backs of my hands & fingers. I have also attacked my husband with it - he gets dry, flakey patches on his face. It has also made it's way onto the inside of dog's ears that were red, angry & itchy. Haven't tried it on toast yet, lol! Just so chuffed to have found a moisturiser that works, doesn't stink & you can use on the whole family.
Disappointed – I am disappointed with the 2 blush pink face clothes I purchased. The colour is actually a pale pink which is very different to the colour on the internet (but I do understand colours on the internet can look very different to the article) and the cloths look synthetic and cheap. I haven't noticed any difference using these clothes compared to microfibre ones. Also I think 12.95 for postage is a bit rich.
Well… – I got a tattoo and I stupidly covered it with something too sticky and when I removed that cover, I did some damage. For 2 days I applied tattoo cream which wasn’t making any difference. I decided to use my ecology daily moisturiser last night instead of the tattoo cream and this is the difference today. Now I’m not saying it wouldn’t have gotten… Read more
a lot better overnight even without the ecology but I will let people draw their own conclusions on that
Best moisturiser ever – I absolutely love these products my skin has never looked calmer and so soft and nourished, I have at last found the perfect products for my skin. The only product I will ever use from now on.
Hero skincare – My BB skin is always red. Now that I use the sponge there are no creams to irritate and I use my moisturiser and it’s really calmed it down. I gave only been using it for 2 weeks. Also wanted to share I gave a cream phobic daughter who wouldn’t wash her face. Now she is using the sponge and her skin is amazing. This product saved both mine and my daughters skin. Thank you Crystal.
Strangest smell and texture – I wanted to love this but my experience was that my face smelt like I slapped some steak fat all over it. OK main ingredient is beef tallow - which I can’t remember being in the advertising but it was very unnerving and I am not a vegetarian. Followed all the instructions to the letter for a few weeks but my skin stayed greasy ... and the smell… Read more
urgh ..... Tried just using as a hand cream but same thing - skin stayed slimy, had to wash it off. Provided feedback and asked if I was doing something wrong but got ignored and also blocked on facebook. Won’t buy again.
Feedback dramas – I purchased this product and offered feedback on their facebook page and via email. I was blocked from their facebook page and email! The product seems to hydrate really well but I questioned how horrible it smelled - and that was enough for Crystal to block me instead of explain to me why it smells as it does. I didn't say I would stop buying… Read more
it but as I'm blocked at all points perhaps I actually can't. Not sure about a business model that thinks blocking customers rather than helping them is the right thing to do.
