Energizer Lithium Coin Battery CR2016

Recently needed to change my key fob batteries after a decade of use purchased the CR 2016 as recommended by my service manual in the energiser brand worked for approx 6 weeks then completely died as I found it hard to accept this took vehicle and both fobs to Toyota service centre where a Technician who also found it hard to believe so subjected batteries to a volt meter test both were operating at half there stated capacity of 3 volts replaced with CR 2016 but Toyota branded nil further issues have emailed energiser Australia re this matter and awaiting a response but have doubts on receiving a reply and to be compensated for the purchase of these batteries and my time in having Toyota technician verify they were sub standard voltage intend taking this further on principal if no forthcoming positive response from Enigiser batteries will keep you updated
