They couldn’t even copy my name correctly. They invented words that don’t exist, left some parts untranslated, and even translated “langue vivante étrangère” (which simply means “foreign language studied at school/university”) as “Living Language”Completely absurd. Easy process, great results – I run a digital agency, one of my clients need a landing page (website) translated from their native german to english. Ethnolink were great to work with, kept me up to date with the project. Most importantly they delivered on time and on budget. I had previously used another provider, but I found myself spending too much time managing the project and not doing my own work....is there anything more frustrating. 10/10 would definitely use again.

Disappointing and Unprofessional – They made a translation mistake on a basic German occupation which I discovered in 2 seconds using Google. I paid premium for Express post, but very dismayed that the translated birth certificate came folded in half in a small postage envelope. It has an unsightly crease mark right across the middle. They get an extra point for fast turnaround and good communication, otherwise I cannot recommend this service.

this is bad – I had the worst experience with them, bad service. I paid for express delivery which should take 1 or 2 days but it has been 4 days and I have not received anything, and the worst thing is I paid for the express not the standard, and the problem is that the copy they sent me is useless I tried to apply for driving license and they said they have to use the original copy.

Poor translation, avoid this company for French to English translations – I paid for a French to English translation of my French degree certificates. They translated 'corporate criminal law' from French to the literal translation of 'penal business law' and contract law was literally translated as 'law of obligations'. placed me in the top 15% of the year at the university, they translated as 'overall grade: fair' which is not a true reflection of the grade. They finally gave me a translation which made it 'third class honors' another incorrect and extremely unflattering translation of my (GOOD) grade.

I had to go elsewhere to get a more accurate translation. Avoid if you need a French/English translation or anything that involves legal or corporate language.

Good customer service - delivered same day – I needed an urgent Chinese translation of a birth certificate into English. EthnoLink quoted me in 15 minutes and sent the translation the same day. Made a mistake in the quote and didn't stick to the offered price – Tried to use the service. They provided me with a quote which was very competitive. After I paid, they said they made a mistake: forgotten to include one document in the original quote and increased the price. They refused to provide service for their offered quote. However, they did immediately refund when we didn't reach an agreement.

Translation FAIL – Its been 4 weeks and i STILL do NOT have a hard copy of the translation document i need. I phone and phone and phone, and it always goes back to a voice message to someone called [Name Removed] who NEVER answers the phone!! I will be taking this further.

5 - The worst thing ever!!! They didn't write that I wear eyeglasses although it is written and my picture with glasses!

After two days of emails, they did it and send it to me via Australia Post. I received the hard copy and found the biggest problem!

They FORGOT to staple the photocopy of my driving license with the translated paper! So it is useless. It was before the Christmas and I have to do urgent thing with this translation and I missed it!!!

I tried to call them on the phone line provided on their website: 1300 727 441

No one answer my four calls so I sent them an email that I'm not satisfied with service and according to their website "Money back guarantee." I need my money back. They refused and told me now "We are sorry and will send you another one attached with the photo copy!"

After opening a dispute on PayPal and telling PayPal the story. The CEO [name removed] sent me an email telling me that he or she is sorry about the bad experience and they will refund me the full amount!

Moral of the story:

1 - They don't have the minimum level to be a "certified" professionals translator.

2 - They are liars "Money back guaranteed" on their website but they refused to do it in the normal way and I have to open a dispute with PayPal to return money to me.

3 - They are expensive, they do it for 66$ and there are a lot of people doing it for 35$. I know that piece of information form the start but I expected exceptional service due to the high rate but I received worst service ever!
