1 Poor pool  · Locations are impossible to find and not functioning when you do locate them. Avoid as all costs.
5 Jade M.  · Road tripped multiple times using just this network with no issues. Easy to use. Good prices
1 Kashif A.  · Poor experience overall , they completed wasted hours and hours of my team not to mention a breach of privacy
1 Meika R.  · Hopeless. Have tried twice to use Evie network at jamieson ACT. Failed both times. Rang for assistance she advised that I should download a different app!
3 Stuart William O.  · Home Charger installation – My home charger they installed cannot be used as I have been getting temperature warnings since installation in July 2024.
1 APk  · Disaster! – 3/4 charging station locations are out of order. Total disaster. Use a reputable brand. These guys don’t care

Evie charging stations at Campbell Town in Tasmania are not working on Sunday and at other times when i required them.I had to divert 40ks on 15 percent charge. There customer service is next to useless so do not rely on this unreliable station and inadequate service in Tasmania.

Horrible process. The charger got stuck in my tesla. How complicated could a charging process be? Customer service took all my life details to verify the account but couldn't help unlocking the charger or get the charging started. I will be charging at home, never going back there again.

Jakub is 100% correct, I received a $10 voucher at Christmas, added to account no problem, but when I charged it didn't use the voucher, instead charged my card. Classic bait and switch. Emailed them and no reply, called them, promised call back, of course they never did. Voucher was set to expire on 11th of January, was gone from account on the… Read more

9th. This mob are crooks, raising prices, not honouring vouchers, never reply to emails or phone calls. Don't waste your time with this filth, find someone honest and reliable who know how to communicate with their customers.

Edit: After many weeks of not replying to emails or returning phone calls and after giving up and pretty much forgetting about the fiasco, I got an email stating they'd looked into it, found that the system had not used my credit and issued me a refund which did in fact arrive. I won't change my review rating nor my stance, they need to do much, much better than they currently are, but felt it was important to update my review with the final outcome.

Minus 5 stars – The Evie app fails to send an email link during registration to your email (checked spam, junk, inbox = no email). Repeated that process twice. I then tried to use the chat option within app? That Won’t work because you’re not registered! (catch 22) Phoned the call centre and explained the issue to an overseas call centre. Who said it could be… Read more

a station issue, cable issue, Dara issue, connectivity issue, etc. The slow learner on the end of the phone could not comprehend that it was a failure within the registration process with the app. Tried explaining this four times and they sounded like they kept reading from the same old scripted reply. Rang back and got someone who understood the issue BUT could do nothing as they have to send an email to Evie tech dept support team who will reply. (Edit: one month later still nothing heard and App still not working) Waste of time and effort - best avoided!! I doubt this company will be around for much longer till it folds or is purchased out

Wasted 10 hours!!!! – Useless rip off merchants. Took 10 $30 authorities off my card yesterday and wasted 10 hours of my time! I still didn’t get charged. Went to [Name Removed] and despite them saying open they were all closed. Support person doesn’t even live in this country, she was rude and unhelpful. WORST customer service ever. Simply request was to change email address and was advised to delete account and establish a new one. However was not told that I would not be able to transfer my existing EVIE pass. I must pay for a new card. Out of the 5 Apps I have they are the only one were you cannot update your email.

Follow-up  · A new Evie card only cost $5.00 However customer service did not inform me that I could simply un-link the card before deleting my account. Then all I would have to do is link it to the new account.

Chargers network is great, but the practices of the company are horrible. They will do tricks to get your money out of your pocket by luring you with "promotional" vouchers that will make you use your credit card instead of pre-purchased vouchers without any notification. The company even refuses to fix that and the support has very… Read more

unprofessional way of communicating (saying I should resolve dispute with my bank - WHAT BANK HAS TO DO with your practices?!)

Very disappointed - the moment I finish my pre-purchased voucher will avoid EVie

Been a loyal user since purchasing my EV but continuously concerned about the increase in charging costs. The purpose of going green is the benefit of not paying high charging fees. When I first got my Ora it cost me $12 for an almost full charge and honestly promoted getting an EV due to the cost savings. In a matter of months it’s jumped to over $20 to charge just under 80%. What’s the point? At this rate it’s going to cost the same as petrol….

I am disappointed in this company after receiving the below POORLY written email. If I could give them a big fat 0 I would! No longer using their charge stations. We understand if it caused a bit of confusion, and some of you have reached out wondering where your voucher code is. We want to assure you it wasn’t intended to mislead, just a genuine slip-up on our part.

We really value you being part of our community. We're already putting steps in place to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Extremely overpriced to an amount that should be illegal. It was once promoted to get an EV to save the environment and to save your hip pockets, especially for the low to middle income earners. Now you're paying a premium for the EV AND to charge it. I have a Shark 6 and it's claimed that I should get 100km out of a charge. But that's crap, it's… Read more

tested in best case situations at 85km, but in real world city driving, you'd be lucky to 60km. If I fuel the vehicle to the top on unleaded 95, it costs me about $112. I charged the car from it's minimum (25%) to 100% and it cost me $18! Let's say I use advertised figures. A full tank of fuel will get me 700km, a full charge will get me 100km (but we know this just isn't true). So, a charging from Evie networks to generate to same milage as fuel would cost me $126!! And I know that the fuel mileage is accurate but the battery is not even close. I could be generous and say, it's 60km city driving but it's probably even less! So, being conservative, Evie network would cost me 210 [Content Removed] dollars!!! Can you believe it?

We create a great idea to help people out with electric cars, but there's always going to be someone in this country that will monetise it and extort people to make themselves disgustingly rich. And don't give me that, oh it's convenient, no, it's not, fueling takes 30 minutes less. You have less infrastructure, less maintenance, less footprint, you don't even have to be there or bring in fuel! You just plug in the machine and rake in the cash. Disgusting people.

Got a 1000kwh voucher from Geely and after using about 200kwh the voucher stop working. Unable to charge unless using my own credit card. Called the custoner support but unable to help and asked to write in. After sending 5 emails still unresolved. Hopeless customer service. Beware when using any voucher.

Who is the brilliant person that decided a simple credit card operated machine isn't good enough and a completely new system that is operated by a phone app (assuming you have a battery and a signal) would be better. Takes half an hour just to connect to the charger each time. Why can't things be made simple? Everyone needs to have their own app… Read more

that you have to download and give permissions and spend 15 minutes in the heat trying to read the operation manual when late to the airport. And of course every charging station has their own app and require your credit card details. What on earth is all of this for?!?!? Terrible service

Useless RFID card and zero customer service – I paid $5 for an RFID card so that I can charge when out of mobile range or in a no-internet spot (ie when travelling). It doesn't work. It can't be linked to my account. I've contacted them six (6) times over three months. Not one single person has ever responded to my call. The card doesn't work, which is very stressful when you're in a no-internet spot and travelling and can't charge the car.

Evie charge network is an utter disaster – Tried multiple times to charge, only once have I been successful. The awful stress at really needing a charge and Evie failing leaving me in dire straights multiple times has me selling my Tesla. Tesla superchargers work flawlessly every time, no need for card just plug and charge absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately just not enough of them.

Unable to charge – Could not initiate charging as the auto location function offered the wrong charging station with no alternative. However, even if I could have solved that problem my Tesla would not accept the evie cable as it said it could not lock the plug in. I checked thoroughly and was unable to get it to lock. I have deleted the evie app and will never try to use them again as they seem to be totally unreliable.

Worst Charging Station EVER!! – My vehicle has been charging for one and a half hours and is now up to 53% . The charge rate has been between 18 and 19 kw/hr. It will take another 90 minutes to get close to a full charge. Worst charging station ever.

Evie is not all rubbish – I will use this company again after they contacted me directly and refunded our money. Past complaint: They charged us four times for the one charge. Phillipines call centre is a complete waste of time. We had to cancel our credit card so they can’t keep charging us. We now have the hassle of disputing the charges. This is such a shame as Australia desperately needs a decent electric car charging infrastructure. Use Chargefox or whomever else becomes available. An addendum to this: After multiple contacts with a Phillipines based call centre and some good assistance from CBA Mastercard, our money was refunded. We could have done without the stress but they were honest in the end.

Horrible experience with these twits – Absolutely pathetic company to deal with. Unreliable chargers that rarely connect without issue. Major technical shortfall at the call centre and language barrier as they are not fluent in English. Recently had 180 dollars worth of holds on my bank account due to their chargers disconnecting soon after starting to charge and need to pay a hold fee of $30 each time. Chargefox are way better if you have the option in your area.

Charges for sessions not made, system fail – I was charged $12.67 for session in Kyneton Vic. The session was in 2019. The charge landed 20.05.24. I did not have an EV in 2019, I did not have an evie account in 2019. I contacted support thinking my card has been compromised. dribbled on about out of his control, the finance dept, could be an app issue. After repeating myself over and over , I gave up in frustration. There is no way to dispute charges with anyone that can communicate away from the script. You can't contact them directly to dispute charges, you have to use email. It's pathetic. The charge is pending against my credit card account which indicates there is a problem, how am I to feel confident my account has not been hacked or Evie has been hacked. ?. I have since been advised the Charge station lost comms for a period of time and all sessions defaulted to 2019. No corrected session time or date was supplied. How am I to know if this charge is correct or not or if this is just another system failure on evies behalf. The customer service is appalling.

Waste of time and still pay full rate – Had to reset the charger 6 times in 1 hour. Tried the neighbouring station with the same result. Couldn’t leave the car as the charger was stopping within 10 minutes of starting. How frustrating and we still have to pay full rate for this [Content Removed] show! Can’t wait for Tesla to unlock there chargers across the road.

Frustrating experience – I’d rate this company 0 stars if I could. Attempted to use the Evie charger in Penrith (after setting up the ‘new’ app for 20 minutes) and after scanning the QR code, it told me one port was out of use and the other was unavailable. The whole experience took too long, it was extremely frustrating, and I ended up leaving without charge. This company needs to do so much better considering EV’s are increasing in popularity.

Unreliable – Finding Evie increasingly frustrating. Stations are dysfunctional more often than not. The app keeps freezing and then unhelpfully suggesting that the app be reloaded. Wasted half an hour trying to get power and drove away without any. Tried all four stations at Benjamin Way Belconnen that were supposed to be available. Not good enough.

Care of Duty to Consumers, R U OK? – Rubbish Chargers and disgusting customer service. Multiple times it wouldn't connect through app and kiosk. Customer services, unprofessional. could also hear other customer service people laugh and talk about it, because I was being told to repeat their process. During a storm at night, after work so I could continue home. After I moved to the next kiosk as asked. The person on the phone said there should be no problems with the next kiosk, plug in and go! He lied and I was asked to repeat proccedures multiple times again. Where I heard more laughing from 3 women in the background. By this stage another car pulled up to use the kiosk, they said was broken and they had me deliberately move from. They just plugged in & within seconds they were charging. Whilst I'm struggling with the second terminal. I pointed it out, he just made some excuse. It took him an hour to release the pump so I could charge. I knew he was controlling it, because he had no choice. After realizing another person/car was using the outer service kiosk, he just had me move from. This took over an hour and when finish charging the cable wouldn't disconnect. So disgusted, I've shared my experiences with other people at other kiosks and they All agreed. They won't be usung your services and we All prefer other New terminals. They are fun and customer support are fast, mindful, respectful, make us feel valued and Safe. I also posted a video on socials calling yous out & Warning other consumers last year. You won't find it, because I removed it already. But once it's on the Dark Web as they say. Even if you remove it stays there. You only had one job, on job! You don't deserve any Star's. The other charging stations will get them, they're cheaper anyway. I'm only paying $5-$4 after yous keep charging me over $20+. Evi who?
