am leaning towards giving facebook the flick this time. If that is the level of intelligence of a person who gets into Harvard, then clearly the t-shirt is the most impressive thing there. I had serious doubts about Zuckerberg's personality before this and this has only strengthened my belief that he has serious issues to be signing off on such a childish approach.

it was fake - this is for the same item!! As a result, I have an ad on my Facebook page that I cannot amend or remove or ask for a further review. Their rating system has been down for over a week and everyone is unable to rate a person who they have have had dealings with on Marketplace. There is no easy way to contact Facebook to tell them that they have stuffed up their web site, and I am NOT going to go through hoops trying to tell them. I have an old computer screen that does not have a camera. Like many others on this site, I have been FORCED to do facial recognition. This means I have had to have a lend of someone's laptop so that I can do the facial recognition to get my account reinstated. This is happening about once every 10 days. Surely, some brain surgeon in there can work out a system whereby once people have done the facial recognition, that it should be sufficient for more than 10 days. Toughen up Facebook and have a shop front where people can contact you with issues where you are accountable instead of hiding behind a veil of impossible tasks to contact you.

British Labour Party It restricts and bans anyone who criticises or pokes fun at government activities eg The treatment of the young girls raped in the uk by Muslim Pakistani old men for over 10 years which was covered up by South Yorkshire police and the government and who even arrested the fathers of the girls for complaining about the abuse. And the government refusal to prosecute the police or the councils that hid these crimes. Facebook account was in any way linked to this Instagram account.

I have asked them repeatedly to disconnect my Facebook account with this Instagram account and restore my Facebook account.

I have sent many, many emails and messages through Facebook, Instagram and Meta, BUT NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE!!!

I have been trying to fix this problem for 6 months.

This is a very simple matter to resolve, yet they do NOTHING.

technology. Fingerprint scan already on laptop so the only thing Facebook is missing is a blood sample to take my DNA. And the government is worried about Tik-tok collecting some information ?

yesterday. Wasted the afternoon trying, but all Meta does is ask for ID (sent passport and it was accepted), and a code they said I could use as a password (it produced an error msg). Well, after jumping through all these hoops, they still want the two-factor authentication code - you know? The one I can't give them because they discontinued the authenticator I'd previously used and I was never given the opportunity to set up a new one in the Google authenticator I use for everything else?

So round and round I go, and there's no way forward.

Facebook just keeps sending me reminders to log back in, (see attached for today's reminder!) and I have no way of telling them I can’t log in because I don’t have the two-factor authentication set up!

They offer no support; and no means to reach them so you can tell them what the problem actually is! And they think they're leading the world in AI - trained with millions of books they stole from the pirate site, LibGen!

Looking at the hundreds of messages begging for assistance on LinkedIn (none of which get a response from Meta), they can't even manage the rudimentary elements of effective communication.

I am growing increasingly fond of Bluesky. It's effective, it's not constipated with fake-info, and it's not toxic.
