least 10%-15% of all ads are fraudulent yet Facebook is happily taking money from scammers and fraudsters and help them rip you off. And what's with having a bot asking users to verify themselves they are not bots before being allowed to log in, are Facebook bots afraid of a little competition or just another way they use to block undesirable users who question their crooked ways of doing business ? It time the Australian government looks into Facebook fraudulent practices and regulates them or shut them down.

I purchased 3 x SCNDR 360 Smart Holographic Starry Sky Projectors from LEAFYRA who advertise on Facebook. I have received cheap items totally different to what was advertised. After contacting them they requested pictures for evidence and have requested for me to return it and will only refund 30% .

Facebook Ads-don't bother. I pumped money into it for ages and got a lot of spam emails but not a single enquiry despite the huge number of "clicks". Then I put products on Marketplace and was bombarded with genuine enquiries. Clearly the Ads uses bots to click on the links. Same as Google Ads. different account they decided after a week and a video of my face that I was an unacceptable person and would never be able to open any account with them ever, despite using a different phone number. No excuse or reason why but that I was not an acceptable character. Anti-Christian? Don't waste your time with them once you are marked. You're better off without them. am leaning towards giving facebook the flick this time. If that is the level of intelligence of a person who gets into Harvard, then clearly the t-shirt is the most impressive thing there. it was fake - this is for the same item!! As a result, I have an ad on my Facebook page that I cannot amend or remove or ask for a further review. Their rating system has been down for over a week and everyone is unable to rate a person who they have have had dealings with on Marketplace. There is no easy way to contact Facebook to tell them that they have stuffed up their web site, and I am NOT going to go through hoops trying to tell them. I have an old computer screen that does not have a camera. Like many others on this site, I have been FORCED to do facial recognition. This means I have had to have a lend of someone's laptop so that I can do the facial recognition to get my account reinstated. This is happening about once every 10 days. Surely, some brain surgeon in there can work out a system whereby once people have done the facial recognition, that it should be sufficient for more than 10 days. Toughen up Facebook and have a shop front where people can contact you with issues where you are accountable instead of hiding behind a veil of impossible tasks to contact you.

I don't know how they thought my Facebook account was in any way linked to this Instagram account.

I have asked them repeatedly to disconnect my Facebook account with this Instagram account and restore my Facebook account.

I have sent many, many emails and messages through Facebook, Instagram and Meta, BUT NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE!!!

I have been trying to fix this problem for 6 months.

This is a very simple matter to resolve, yet they do NOTHING.

yesterday. Wasted the afternoon trying, but all Meta does is ask for ID (sent passport and it was accepted), and a code they said I could use as a password (it produced an error msg). Well, after jumping through all these hoops, they still want the two-factor authentication code - you know? The one I can't give them because they discontinued the authenticator I'd previously used and I was never given the opportunity to set up a new one in the Google authenticator I use for everything else?

So round and round I go, and there's no way forward.

Facebook just keeps sending me reminders to log back in, (see attached for today's reminder!) and I have no way of telling them I can’t log in because I don’t have the two-factor authentication set up!

They offer no support; and no means to reach them so you can tell them what the problem actually is! And they think they're leading the world in AI - trained with millions of books they stole from the pirate site, LibGen!

Looking at the hundreds of messages begging for assistance on LinkedIn (none of which get a response from Meta), they can't even manage the rudimentary elements of effective communication.

I am growing increasingly fond of Bluesky. It's effective, it's not constipated with fake-info, and it's not toxic.
