Family First Photoelectric Smoke Alarm FFPDC

Out of the box and faulty – Pressed the test button before installing and most of the time the alarm didn't go off. Obviously can't trust the unit and will be returning for a different one. Also, small screw to fix the battery was missing. Show details
Paid $22 dollars for this and thought Aussie brand would be of quality – This alarm is made so cheap wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Battery has a cord that you have to pull through the back, potentially easily breaking/damaging it, unlike other brands where you just place the battery in secure and not pulling cords. Plus I was missing a screw for the battery compartment, had to go back to bunnings! I’m leaving a review because a smoke alarm is a product that should be made of better standards to sell in Australia Show details
