I was a virtual attendee. I really enjoyed the experience, not only felt like you were with everybody else in the conference at the time, but was able to enjoy the experience in the comfort of my own home without the expense and stress of travelling and being face to face with strangers. attendees are also sitting down for long lengths of time as the actual attendees are and want to stretch their legs.

As long as the virtual attendees are communicating via the chat tab throughout the sessions, surely that is better than nothing. It's the individual's choice after all.
