Gets the Job Done – A recent purchase at Officeworks got me a fantastic little paper shredder – the Fellowes Powershred M-5C. It is super compact so you can “hide it” in a side cabinet. Pretty quick and does what it is supposed to do – cross-cuts the paper and makes confetti of the important old documents you need to have destroyed. Typical of all paper… Read more
shredders – if you put off doing your shredding to last and you have a big pile, well, it overheats, and then you must wait for the 30 minutes or so for the machine to “cool-down” which is a pain with all of these types of small machines.

before it has a chance to heat up so much that it needs a 30 minute cool down period. I have always oiled the the machine every time I empty the basket and I haven't had any issues with it yet. Good product for occasional household use. Next time I would probably buy a product that has a larger shredded paper holding capacity as I find I have to empty the basket too often when I have a lot of shredding to do.
