not recommended for regular use – I bought this shredder so that I could securely dispose of the many years of paper files I have in my own personal filing cabinet. But it would seem it will take several years to shred the paperwork using this machine. I can get maybe 4 pages at best into the machine at once. I could deal with that if the machine ran for more than 5 minutes… Read more

before timing out for another hour or so. I even tried allowing it to stop every minute or so to try extend that time. But it doesn't seem to make any difference. It seems to time out after about 5 minutes irrespective of whether it's constant or disrupted use. It also jams easily with more than one sheet.

If you just want to shred a single sheet or 2 on the go, then this machine might be ok. But if you have a backlog of 20 sheets or more you want to shred, be prepared to spend half the day waiting for the machine to cool down after every 5 minutes of use. I ended up giving up, took a box load of my paper files to work and dumped them in the locked shredding bin.

Terrible shredder. Avoid! – After 2 very troubled years, I have just dumped my P-35C shredder. It was poor from the start. It could shred 1 page comfortably, but not 5 as stated. It jammed very frequently & constantly required clearing. Lubricating the blades helped, but only temporarily. Eventually, the plastic shredder feeder guard cracked & broke down in multiple places.… Read more

Overall, a very poor shredder for all but the lightest, occasional shredding. A real disappointment which undermines the Fellowes brand. I've had much cheaper shredders which have performed much better. Best avoided!

Not a Long Life – I have this shredder for a few years. It has had a gentle life. No heavy work like DVDs, credit cards etc. Has been regularly lubricated. The auto start feature stopped but it still ran in reverse. I disassembled it and found the nylon casing that holds the shredder blades had cracked and a couple of pieces broken off. It is unrepairable. Ok, it was a cheap shredder but I feel it is unacceptable for it fail in this manner

It's cheap & it works – Bought a white model from Officeworks and paid an extra $12 for extended warranty as the store assistant explained it'll be a whole unit replacement. It's a little noisy, but it does the job.

Shreds perfectly – Could do with better design of the emptying process. As the lid includes the heavy motor it is heavy to handle and awkward to put back without jamming your fingers.

The worst paper shredder I have ever bought – I bought this from Office Works a number of years ago and at the time, I only bought it because Office Works was doing a special. And since I didn't have one at home, I'd thought it was a good idea to get one. Though if I had known a website such as this existed in the first place, I probably wouldn't have bought it. If you're shredding up to… Read more

3 pages at any given time, it might be good; however the shredding blades tends to get clogged up very quickly. It has a tantrum when you're trying to shred anything more than 3 sheets or even expired plastic cards in your wallet. The reverse function based on my experience did not work properly.

I still have this shredder, however I don't use it. I've tried numerous times to remove the clogging on the blades and its just a very long...time consuming process. Instead I just have it collecting dust.

The point being, stay away from this; and if you're going to buy a shredder for the purpose in which you're intending; stay away from cheap and nasty shredders because even though it might save you money, it just won't. It pays to do your research properly and to get something decent even though it might be expensive at first.

OK – If this paper shredder didn't jam so much then i would have given it 5 stars. But that fact that it continually jams and gives me headaches trying to un-jam it everytime it does is not worth it. I paid $75 but realised the hard way that you probably get what you pay for in shredders. Other than that i liked that the bin was a good size so it… Read more

didn't need emptying too often and that it cuts paper both ways for extra security. Bin is a good size. Shreds paper well (when it doesnt jam it). Relatively cheap as far as home/personal shredders go. Paper often jams even when used according to manufacturer's direction

Cheap and easy to use – Bought this shredder for less than $70 from Officeworks. Did what it says, shred 5 sheets with no problem. There is a 3 minutes max run time to prevent over-heating, it can be a little bit noisy but that's not a problem for me as I only shred stuff occasionally. Inexpensive and does it what say Slightly noisy and has a maximum run time before overheating

Good – Overall, a great shredder for home/small office as it gets the job done (sometimes taking a little longer than usual) for a small price. This shredder is great for cutting up paper and old cards like creditcards/eftpos cards and is a great personal security device to have in your home or office. This bin size is great and it easily detaches to be… Read more

able to empty quickly. I also love the locking device on it as it stops my two young children accidently turning it on and loosing their fingers. After a few pages being shredded, the machine seems to slow down and eventually just 'freeze' and the paper gets jammed in there. It doesn't happen everytime, but it does get quite annoying.

Bad – Husband bought this from Officeworks because of the price. If you are looking for a simple shredded machine, this will work for you. But for me, it makes too much noise and you only can able to shred certain quantity of papers and the machine will automatic switch off because it needs to cool down it's 'engine'??? Inexpensive switch off by itself when the machine thinks you have overload the papers and need to wait for hours to restart it.

Bad quality – It did not last me an hour, used according to directions, started jamming and making noises and now only shreds half a page and turns off over heats. I do not recommend this product. Expensive, Jamming, overheating frequently, noisy
