Useless – Only good if you want to shred one piece of paper any more over that you spend un-jamming it and then if your lucky it will not smell like its burning and its so slow when it does shred. Wouldnt recommend this for an office would be more hassle than use. Constantly jams

Fellowes P45-C Shredder - really only a one or two page shredder – I've owned a Fellowes P45-C shredder for several years and find it works quite well PROVIDING only feed one or two sheets at a time and frequently clear the shredded paper area under the cutters. Also need to lubricate every 50 or so sheets. I used the recommended Fellows Shredder lubricant but suspect Canola Oil is just as good. Reliable providing one doesn't try to shred too much Not really the 6 page shredded it's advertised as

Fellowes P-45C Cross Cut Shredder - a poor performer – This shredder jams easily - 2 sheets and it jams. Overheats very quickly and all together is a disaster. Very disappointed in this machine with the Fellowes name on it. I would not recommend this machine to anyone. It is even unsuitable for a small home office. In fact I can't think of an application it would work in. Very poor performance

Not very good – Like another reviewer, we have found this shredder is only good for one sheet of A4 at a time and even then, the paper often sticks to the cutting rollers and it's only a short time later that this happens enough for the thing to slow down and stop, seized with shredded paper. Un-jamming this is something that is both frequent and… Read more

time-consuming. This shredder would only be suitable for a single person who shreds the odd bill or document. If you have more considerable shredding needs this machine is definitely not for you. Compact. Jams easily and often; quite noisy.

Terrible – Disappointed. Slow, single sheet operation and constant need to ensure cuttings are not building up underneath make for great frustration. I liked the idea of confetti-type output, the good range of safety features and the fact that it says it will take up to 6 sheets of paper at a time The biggest problem is that the machine clogs easily and when… Read more

it does it takes ages to free up. In practice it will not take more than 2 or 3 sheets of A4 paper at a time. With 3 sheets it slows to a crawl (or stops)and you think the motor might burn out. It's much happier with 1 sheet at a time!

Good – We paid under $100 for this, and although you can buy cheaper products, the quality just wasn't the same. For under $100, I don't think you can beat this. Large capacity, shreds credit cards, Looks 'heavy duty'. This is the first shredder we have owned but compared to some cheap models we looked at this seems a lot more sturdy. The metal teeth are… Read more ·  1

big, so aren't going to break and the case is made of tough, thick plastic that won't break in a hurry, even if dropped. Nothing so far
