Fellowes Powershred P-48C Cross-Cut

Not what was advertised – Bought this shredder for a small office. We do only light shredding. It was advertised as being able to shred 9 pages at once, but it can barely do 4. It constantly overheats and is SO loud. When I contacted Fellowes, they didn't want to know about it. Really disappointed as we run to a very tight budget.

Office fire from paper shredder – Very disappointed. It worked well for a little while, then started to overheat after only 4 papers, then WHAM, it starts to smoke and flame up in my office. Not impressed at all. Won't be getting a Fellowes ANYTHING ever again.

terriable shedder – I am using a Fellowes shredder P-48 c cross cut shredder now and can only shred 30 SINGLE a4 sheets before the thing over heats and then it takes 15 minutes to cool, a very bad machine, which I would advise no one , but no one to buy.

Bad Shedder bad Company – I bought my $145 Shredder from Office Works about 18 months ago to replace my cheap $39 shredder that died after about 5 years moderate use. The Fellows P48c has lasted less than 18 months of modrate domestic use. I registered the(2yr) warranty online at the time of purchase. What a brilliant shredder! – Can't believe someone would give this a one star rating. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Very impressed. The size of the teeth make it so much better than the competion. This is a machine for someone who wants to shred documents regularly and when I say shredded, that's what you get! This thing just stopped working – Next time I would invest In a better quality product. The plastic gears and switch leavers will not stand the test of time or use for my liking. I am an infrequent user and feel that it should of lasted a great deal longer. They are in many major stores but its really the price that makes for the sale and when compared to the life i got out of this product it is not good value. price it just didnt work one day when i needed it to.
