pitbull to my home -used my washing machine and line -brought friends over to my house and was drinking beer and left broken beer bottles at my home -stole my husband wheelbarrow and who knows what else!!! -fence wasnt painted properly -gate didnt meet up and latch

This was just the contractor for the job....

The administration hounded me for full payment even though the job was horrible and was in desperate need of repair as soon as it was up. And then the company took the money from my account without asking!!!!! The money was to be released after the job was done. Job is not done. How can you do this to people and sleep at night?

They've stopped taking my calls, and they've also changed their number.

The Fencing Guys Saved Christmas – I had almost given up hoping our pool would be finished for Christmas due to a compliance issues with our boundary fence. They worked diligently and courteously to have the fence done in 2 days. Travis kept me informed the whole time. The fence looks great. We are very satisfied and we were able to fill the pool for Christmas.

Fencing Guys, did they say they would build a fence? Beware – I paid a 50% deposit in October 2014, still waiting for the fence and/or refund of deposit. I went to QCAT, got a decision in my favour but that doesn't get my money. I don't believe they have a builders licence (required), invoice doesn't quote ABN and I would be interested to get other invoices and advise ATO of business operating without ABN.… Read more

Why can no-one track them down and stop them. Obviously nearly two years has gone by since I got stung and he is still doing the same thing.

Surely someone can stop this [name removed] from ripping people off

Stole our money and never returned our calls – After paying our deposit of 50% we were strung along for two months with a string of excuses as to why they couldn't build our fence. After we asked for a refund they stopped communicating with us. One year later and they still have our money. No good can come of dealing with The Fencing Guys. Stay away!

One word - terrible – We had our property boundary fence upgraded and I originally thought the hardest part would be getting the neighbours to agree to half the cost, but let me just say - wow was I wrong!!!! week after the deposit was paid,

- they then called on private number 5+ times a day until we paid the deposit,

- when the deposit was paid they wouldn't answer either email or calls as to when they would start the works & over a month later they still hadn't showed up,

- we started calling on different phones & they finally turned up one afternoon at 5pm to start,

- it took (on & off) 3 weeks to complete a 3 day job & the fence had holes, spray paint, wasn't capped, and warped colourbond sheets,

- they then changed the quote on related works to more than the original, and

- call 5+ times a day to get the remainder paid and even over Christmas Holidays!!!

Horrible customer service, less than average job & harassment with the phone calls!!!

One last thing, if you are thinking of using Fencing Guys, Supa Services, Mowing Brisbane then check their fencing licence and beware!!

string of lies, they were not interested at all in the fact that they had promised to be done on time and we had to suffer the consequences.

They finished the job many days late then the minute they were done they began phoning and emailing us every hour, dozens of times a day for us to pay the bill. We happened to be away working, but that didnt stop them literally hounding and harassing us even though we only took 2 days to pay in full.

Then they owed us a refund for overpayment of the bill. They are impossible to get hold of when they are hiding from you, no answers on their phone, no email response. radio silence. they still have the money that they owe us, thousands of dollars. They refuse to take our calls or pay back the money, just saying maybe they will. Even though they agreed that they should and would. now we have to go to lawyers. I wish i could wind back time to never having crossed paths with these liars and thieves.

Do yourselves a favour and STAY WELL AWAY from the Fencing Guys.
