an old friend – went into the shop seen it sitting there begging to be played, it felt like it was always mine already broken in! took my new friend home put a set of flats on, bass heaven!!,thick, warm, tone.my main bass now, what more can i say a true industry standard that has stood the test of time!!!! cheers

Nice bass but maybe not for everyone! – Bought mine on ebay for $900 in great condition. Neck was very good, sound/tone is very good and plays well. Has good sustain and intonation. The neck is relatively wide and thick in section and the bass requires more physical effort to play compared to say a skinny neck Jazz bass. I love the colour, finish attention to detail and vintage look.

Overall very good build quality and sound. sound and appearance Greater physical effort for your left hand due to neck, but this is normal for early vintage P basses
