Faulty dangerous – Just keeps chirping cant silence it. new battery ASA should review as could cause loss of life and property. RUBBISH. DO NOT BUY. Waste of money and materials. Should be recalled fast.

First Alert CO2 Alarm - Waste of money – I purchased a carbon monoxide alarm from bunnings to check on heaters at some rental properties I have, as the plumbers were so busy due to cold weather, I was unable to get them to do a heater service. The alarm has been used 3 times over night in houses I have and now goes straight to high CO2 reading, even in my driveway. What a load of junk.

Didn't even last 5 months – I bought Three of these early January 2020, same packaging but different production dates from 2018 to 2019. Two have now failed in less than 5 months beeping three times every minute until I had to pull them down and deactivate them. Bunnings replaced them this time but the two new ones also have a 12 month gap in their manufacture stamp starting in may 2018. I now have no confidence they will still be working in one year never mind 10 years.

Often going off....no fire – We purchased 2 alarms from bunnings australia Both have gone off early hours of the morning Always false alarms- very frustrating Needed to discharge now as wouldn’t stop- waste of money- would not recommend

Cannot recommend – Purchased three devices. Frequent false alarms from new. Spoke to distributor who suggested weekly vacuuming of device. False alarms continued. I have removed these alarms from service. This has been a very disappointing product and I will not use this brand again.

Another Dud!! – Less than 3 years old and ours has started beeping all the time. Very disappointing considering it was supposed to last 10 years. Doesn't give you much confidence in the product! incorrect. Try 03 9720 4333. The lady I spoke to is sending out a replacement detector free of charge. They no longer make the square one which I have, so the replacement is a round one. We'll see how it goes. I'm just glad it's one of many different smoke detectors in our house, so we're not relying just on that one!

What a dud – Seems like I should have read product reviews first. I bought mine for an elderly Uncle who lives by himself in a very old wooden house and I am worried about his safety. to their international division but they also suggested I contact the Australian Agent who seem incapable of responding with even a comment like ''we won't help you''. Unfortunately Bunnings must have withdrawn this smoke alarm just after I bought it.

Faulty! – Bought three for my rental property, activated them a month ago. One is doing the 'low battery' beep every minute already - meant to last 10 years! Bunnings said they have been recalled, this would probably be why.

Seems common issues due to poor quality – My experience similar to that above, bought 4, installed 3, of which 2 are now giving 3 beeps at random times. Amazon reviews has many similar experiences. I see Bunnings no longer stocks this brand of smoke detector, good move. A brand to be avoided

Waste of money – Bought 4 of these from Bunnings, advertised as having a battery life of 10 years. Literally only had them a few months and from the time we purchased them they have been nothing but trouble.
