Poor communication – After multiple phone calls and emails to Varun over a 5-day period, still no replies to an inquiry about a business advertised. Called office, no formal greeting, just hello. Did not pass on my message to Varun, that or he chose not to respond. Office could not give me any information on business for sale, not even location or name of business. Poor Customer Service.

Agreed commission and marking expenses were in the sum of $10,000 (inclusive of GST) as confirmed by the tax invoice supplied by you prior to settlement.

Balance in your trust account following deduction of your expenses is $10,000:

A sum of $7,900 was released to the us.

A balance of $2,100 should be remaining in your trust account.

Please release the remaining sum of $2,100.

The vendor is extremely unhappy about the agent's conduct.

Completely hopeless

Go Ken – Phill and I were very impressed with Ken. Thank you so much for all your hard work, communicating and effort that you put in to secure our sale. Di and I were very sad to see the business sold but we knew that we had worked so hard for this moment in our life and we are so pleased that the new owners are so lovely. That means everything to us, to see such nice people taking it over.

Absolutely hopeless, useless and terrible – I thought I would give these guys a go. Huge mistake. They pretty much collect businesses, make you sign with them and make money from you from advertising. They have no interest in selling your business, unless Someone comes to them and basically hands over money. from any rreasonable broker with at least some feedback or communication.. They never called me once unless I hounded them asking them what is going on. I can not stress enough to watch out! I didn't even mind signing the "over the top" 17,000 commission on a 65,000 business, as I have the choice to make this decision or not... What gets me is the trickery and absolute lack or respect, professionalism... avoid!

Pure interest in seller and not Purchaser – First Choice Business Brokers provide made up account reports. (Yes it is possible, many certified accountants will make reports for you as per your requirements) Businesses they sell are terrible. They sold my friends shop actually worth $30,000 for $80,000. I would not recommend dealing with them!

So if you decide to purchase a business from them use the following tips:

- All communications in writing

- All records to be checked by an experienced accountant

- Find a competitive solicitor

- Do not be lenient in any case

P.S. Their initial support will be overwhelming but as soon as you have signed a few papers, you will know you are in trouble,

Work in pure interest of the seller, not the purchaser.
