Will not seal if leak is on a curve or if water is coming out of the leak. Tried to seal a small hole in water pipe, unable to turn completely off, small spray was coming out. Tape would not stick to the wet pipe and water was leaking past the tape. No good at all and a waste of $20. Hoping to make a temporary repair but had to call a plumber on a weekend. Show details

Water line for outside – Stopped leaking outside water line. Saved me a lot of time trying to fill my pool. Line split this winter. About one inch. 10 minutes later. Turned on water. No leaks. Saved me time and money

Terrible – It does not work under water as they advertise, a 100% fabrication. I tried to repair a pool moulding, it would not even stick to the moulding, let alone the liner. As soon as it hit the water the stickiness went away.

Does not work under water – I’ve tried twice to seal a very small hole in the bottom of my kiddie pool. Placed on both sides but after a few minutes it lifts right off. I’m extremely disappointed in this product. I’ve read that you need to remove a clear seal to get to the sticky part, but there is none. It’s just like a regular roll of tape, stuck to itself. It does not work!

Waste of money – I brought it to fix a leak in a pond. Absolutely rubbish, came straight off. So much for super strength and can be applied under water. Save your money. Total waste of money. Show details

Expensive garbage – Falls straight off. Claims that it can be applied under wet conditions are a lie. Save your money and look elsewhere You would be better off patching with a damp sock. Show details

Disappointment – I bought flex tape to patch a pin hole it didn't work at all I tried to patch it underwater it kept coming back up tape under liner didn't work false advertising Show details

Does not stop leaks – Tried to use this on my garage floor to temporarily stop the leaking and it just didn't work. Water table's risen due to rain, and water's coming up through the floor. This didn't stick to the floor and water just kept flowing from underneath the tape. Show details

Didn’t fix the problem – Patched our leaking toilet while I wait for the plumber. The tape failed to stop the leak. Definitely would not recommend for fixing leaks. May work if it was dry. Show details

Wet Surface Terrible – Purchased 2 from the Online TV show store and when applied to any wet surface on my Gutters it did Nothing to slow the leak down. Surface has to be completely Dry before working. Show details

Not worth the money or time – Bought this to seal an unpressurized water tank hose. Did the first in cold weather on a dry surface - leaking and peeling off the next day. Redid after a relatively easy unpeeling on a warm day - just been out to check - curling up again and leaking. Absolute waste of money and time.  Show details

Useless for any surface that isn't flat! – This "Flex" Tape is not at all flexible and does not seal around curves or rounded areas at all. Has not worked for me on anything I've tried to seal that isn't flat, which is 99% of the jobs I need it for! (ex. a plastic bottle that had two holes chewed by mice; a leak in a plastic bucket; a leak around the outlet of pvc water pipe; closing off the end of a leaky chicken drinker nipple, etc, etc). Don't waste your money!!!

Holes in Downpipes – After removing rust and cleaning area I found that the water coming from the guttering down the downpipe escaped around the tape. I then used the Flex Tape Spray and this sealed the area very well. Instructions on the product would be very helpful as there aren't any instructions on how to open the packaging. trial and error but the product is too expensive to have to experiment with first to figure out to correctly apply. I am very happy with the job that I have done and after painting the area the downpipe looks great. I would recommend this product.

This tape does not do what it is advertised to do – Very sticky when dry but try to stick it to any wet or moist surface and it is just garbage will not bond in any way to any wet surface.This is contrary to the advertising.do not buy if you want to seal wet things Show details

waste of money – If your buying this to patch up a pool don't even bother It WILL NOT work underwater! Air bubbles will form under it making the stick completely useless. I also noticed the stick is pretty poor if the area is wet it seems to only work if the area is dry! Don't believe a word the ad says Show details
