Forma Adventure Dry

Forma - Very poor quality motorcycle boots – These expensive boots were purchased for a big trip that I didn’t end up doing until 18 months on. So essentially, they were brand new when I started using them though out of warranty (just). A week into the ride, the heel came away. Whilst emergency fixing this in the bush, I noticed the other sole was coming away. I contacted Forma Australia when I got into wifi range again, did the merry dance of sending in pics/videos, but because no proof of purchase they wouldn’t progress with a solution (which could have been as simple as take it to a cobbler and we will pay the invoice). After I posted my experience on an Adventure riding page online, there was an avalanche of similar stories of the soles letting go on these boots. Pretty sad really as they’re good looking comfy boots (though they don’t look like they would offer much protection in a bad stack). And a pretty rubbish response from Forma, they obviously get a lot of these claims, which begs the question; why not make them more sturdy in the first place!
