They've changed something – This 6 pack product from Coles used to be ok but not any more. The meat tastes awful the pastry is dry and crumbly. I am leaving half of it uneaten because I cannot force myself to take even one more bite. Show details

Disgusting – The filling is disgusting. Only 18% meat. You guys clearly haven't done good research. Get out there and try some from the bakeries. Your sausage rolls taste nothing like they should. Show details

Rubbish on a jumbo scale! – Save your money folks and buy Coles' own brand sausage rolls. Here's me trying to support an iconic Aussie company and what do I get in return? Utter rubbish. These were so inedible I had to throw them in the bin. The only iconic thing that's left is the branding on the box, and whatever this business is now it's not a patch on the company of… Read more

old going by the same name.

These sausage rolls tasted BAD, like the fat (or mutton) content went rancid. BTW... this would not be as a result of long shelf age as the 'best before date' was over a year from now (15-10-22 - see pic below). There's no plausible excuse - this is a really awful product, uncaringly made with rubbish ingredients and far removed from earlier tasty offerings. Not even close to the 'average' flavour one should reasonably expect to find in a sausage roll.

I do hope Four 'n Twenty will read this. To me this appears to be a systematic failure by the company to continue to provide quality, good-tasting value for money goods. What this means is that the company is 'pocketing' (for want of a stronger term) the difference between a much lower price they should be charging for sub-standard products such as this and the inflated amount I and others have to shell out to purchase them. And why? Well, I'll bet it's simply in the interest of delivering larger dividends to share-holders. I sure won't be supporting that. And that's a promise.

p.s. this product was spared a "zero star" rating, only through the unavailability of that rating.
