Has failed after 5 years – The plumbing kit is designed to allow greater useable space under the kitchen sinks. The various pipes are held together by plastic tapered washers and screw fittings. After 5 years, the has failed, with one pipe slipping off it's fitting. I realise that the installing plumber may have stuffed up, but I think that the product comes with some pretty big flaws and makes it difficult to get 100% right.

I would not recommend. Rather, I'd get the plumber to arrange PVC glued fittings to achieve the same result.

In addition, the Australian Franke distributer has declared they "know nothing" about installing this kit. No support at all. What's the point?
