This products chips and marks – Do not buy this product as it will chip and mark around the edges very easily. The salespeople do not tell you this either. This product did not stand up for a normal 2 person house with a dishwasher and no children. Why do Franke make such an inferior product? Not good enough.

Forget warranty – Always wanted a black sink. After a few days a piece flaked off when my wife was wiping it. Referred to Franke with pictures and they advised "something must have been dropped on it, no warranty cover. Definitely not a manufacturing fault". We advised that this was incorrect, and eventually they sent a new sink as a "goodwill gesture". I advised them that I am still up for $200 to remove and install.

New sink arrived - has a small raised piece of paintwork almost in the same place.

I advised them 5/11 that we would keep the sink, but I didn't want to hear "not a manufacturing" problem when clearly it is.

I supplied photos, and offered to take the sink to a local dealer for them to check.

No response as yet - a reputable company will answer complaints on the same day.

Washing Up Is Finally A Pleasure – The most perfect sink, deep bowl, scratch and stain resistant and easy clean. Beautiful to look at, an enhancement to any kitchen no matter weather you are looking for the country or contemporary style. Finally washing dishes by hand is an absolute pleasure. I originally was looking at Granite sinks but after seeing the way Granite sinks can easily loose their beauty (if not properly cared for) I was taken in by the Franke Techonite finish. I'm not a stainless steel fan and have always bought coloured sinks but have had a continuous problem or chips, scratches and stains. Well no longer, I have had my sink for one year and am as happy now as I was when I first purchase my lovely sink. Well worth every cent!
