Franke Tectonite Sink SID 621

Don't buy the white one! – I was hesitant to buy a white sink, and shouldn't have done it. Even if you're careful everything marks it, especially red wine, beetroot etc and pots and pans that bump it leave marks that are difficult to get off. I have to bleach it with liquid bleach on a weekly basis and it still never looks great, even though it's less than a year old. Don't make the same mistake as me! I'm giving it two stars instead of one as the sink does it's job, it just doesn't look good anymore. Also, within the first fortnight a small piece cracked and broke off under the overflow plate. Thankfully you only see it when you lift off the overflow plate but it makes me question the quality.
Piece of garbage – Spoke to salesman and this was supposed to be a better quality product. Not convinced, I looked up the websites and watched u tubes about it. Maintenance seems so easy. plus Franke claims that their tectonite material is non staining , water repellent, shock resistant, etc.... ALL FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ! Sink chipped and stained so easily. Had to spent so much time scrubbing and wiping it down several times a day. Got so paranoid of getting tea and coffee marks on it I had tea towel ready to mop up any spills immediately. Overnight stains are a nightmare and needed bleach treatments to get rid of..
BTW contacted Franke and was not surprised they highlighted the cleaning procedure, What insult !!
The ten year warranty is as good as non!
After two years of suffering it,finally chucked it out. Never trust Franke again!
