fairly average beginner violin – These violins have an OK sound for a beginner but my experience with many of them owned by my students is that the tailpiece comes with poor quality string adjusters. Over time these become very hard to turn and have even seen one snap off. I have used WD40 on them to lubricate but it only slightly improved the issue. Inexpensive Poor quality parts
