over a day and helps with optimizing battery usage. The overview is useful to monitor current usage and help understand the power needs of a device (see screenshots attached).

Have had 2 dealings with Fronius Australia, both times polite and helpful. Typically, we users, should not have to contact Fronius, but my first installer was no longer around.

The Fronius Symo inverters have served me well and I can recommend them.

Utter crap. Customer support is slow and when you finally hear from them the answer is to contact the installer as others have mentioned. The app continuously drops out and you need to reset the wifi on the inverter to get it to work again and the info on the app is an hour old before it displays anyway. The system I installed on my last house was head and shoulders above this and it was much cheaper.

The monitoring app always drops out. Then after couple of days for some unknown reason it will work again. This should not be classified as a top tier inverter. It has nothing to do with wifi strength as I can see full strength and it does work sometimes. Fronious support is slow to respond by email and when they do, it is the same story... try reconnecting again. Complete waste of time.

Disappointing – Can’t connect App and back up service is non existent. App always displays not available and back up is waiting and waiting on a phone and then they come on and say talk to the installer and then you wait more

Fonius Symo - utter garbage and worst service possible – Inverter is 4 years old - paid a fortune for it but should've got a cheap Chinese one from a company that actually honours their warranties. The thing hasn't worked properly since it was installed and has had several service calls none of which fixed the issues. anything - just keep referring you to an installer that no longer exists and saying that its not their problem and if one of their agents comes out its $330 per hour to get it looked at, they will supply parts but I have to pay freight from the East plus installation - so they basically pay nothing. They wont talk to any electrician unless its one of their overpriced agents and paying half the cost in labour to repair a faulty inverter under warranty is simply not feasible. Utter garbage when they say it will last 20-25 years - try 2 or 3 - maybe (mine was about 8 months). Just do yourself a favour and buy a cheapie that actually has a valid warranty. Massive regret paying for supposed "quality". Product is garbage and service is worse than useless - they simply don't care once they have your money. My power bills have been huge for nearly six months while getting the run around and Im just going to get another brand and pay to have it installed - its that bad I wouldn't go near another one of these

Terrible customer service – Terrible after sales customer service. We changed our wifi and can’t reconnect our inverter. Fronius tell us to contact our installer. He has disappeared so we contact fronius who still offer no assistance. It should be an easy fix but it’s not.

Bad support and service – We have a 15 kW inverter that began in the January bringing up errors. Got our provider to come check it out early February. It still was under warranty. huge electricity bill. They agreed to send a new one with full warranty. When we got it, it was only the front panel. We realised that it wasn't even new it was reconditioned or something as it was sun damaged has scratches and marks over it. To contact them is almost impossible the support is atrocious!!! When I did make contact they told me to read the warranty and it says only the part will be replaced and I only got one year warranty. Fair enough but why tell customers that they will send a new unit with full warranty and not explain that it will only be the part. Which anyway is not new it was some elses trouble. They also told me to contact my provider about it. I told them they should contact the provider not me as Fronius had advised them. They are trying to put the blame on someone else. Cut a long story short support is very very bad and very disappointing. When this one goes will go with a cheaper brand at least they replace old for new with full warranty.

stopped working. I got an automatic email from Fronius to say your inverter is dead but the email was a 'do-not-reply' type. I do not recommend Fronius; for me they are a waste of money. At least the cheap Chinese inverters (which can often run for a few years) are a third of the price.

terrible service fronius solar web app – never ever as a 60 year old have i ever received pathetic or really no service at all, But fronius takes the cake , from day of solar installation app has not worked ,and they couldnt give one, still trying to get it to work and impossible to get on to them and they dont reply

Despite my installer spending hours on the job himself plus trying to get them to fix it remotely with a software patch or "deupdate" (they don't deal directly with customers -except to stuff up your system remotely), nothing gets resolved. My letter appealing to Fronius Aust. Managing Director to get involved didn't even receive a response. Because of my and other of his customers' issues with Fronius systems, my installer is not quoting on or installing any more of their products until they can get their service act together. So, BE WARNED!

Painful, time consuming process to set up monitoring – Is it a good system? Couldn't tell you as the app can't be set up by a normal person and the Solarweb online portal is not showing any stats. Near impossible to get in touch with someone at fronius. Their support is terrible. Misleading advertising - set up your app and monitor your inverter in just 4 steps. Yeah right!

All homes should have one – We upgraded our old 1.5kw solar system to a 6.6kw with Fronius Symo inverter. The install was done by CleanNRG in Perth. Fronius - Brilliant gear ! – Just putting in a quick line for a recently installed Fronius Symo Inverter. Had this brilliant bit of hardware installed with 10Kw of Solar panels in July 2018. BRILLIANT, that's all I can say ! Solid, responsive, easy to connect and monitor, what a wonderful piece of equipment ! Well Done Fronius !
