Furi Chopping Board

Fantastic board, I love it! – I bought the large board in this range and was sceptical given previous comments regarding cracking and the sticky labels. However, I had no need to worry. Yes, the labels are glued on fast but it’s nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a little patience and the use of Orange Power (a natural ingredient sticky stuff remover). Regarding the cleaning, why would you submerge a beautiful wooden board like this!!! To take care of a wooden chopping board you should only ever wipe down and season now and again with a little linseed oil. Doing this ensures years of use and I certainly look forward to my board lasting that long, as its sturdy and well made. What can I say, I love my board!

Boards crack after minimal use – I have purchased two of these a small one and a medium/large one and both have cracked after minimal use. They have only been hand washed and used less than 15 times each yet they’ve cracked. The labels are terrible to remove also and leave residue which is difficult to get rid of. I’d recommend staying away from these boards and looking elsewhere. Just like Furi knives inferior quality to the competition.

I hate the gluey labels – Great boards but the glued on labels are impossible to remove! I have tried everything but have finished up with a white powdery look where the glue appears to have reset! The appearance is spoilt and after calling Furi I was told it was my fault for using the wrong cleaning product on it? Like soap and water?
