home to see the padded bed head I had been quoted being replace by a small, unattractive print I was very unhappy. The company said they had no bed heads in stock - ok, but don’t quote something you can’t provide. When I asked for a refund for the difference, I was offered $50. Really? The refund was put in my letter box in a mix of notes and coins, including 10c pieces. I found that really offensive. Thankfully my hubby was checking the list off room by room during install, as when it came to bathrooms, the installer had nothing for them. It was obvious that the styling provided were things scraped together. Like other people, we have 2 dents to our walls and one black mark on our brand new carpet that was certainly not there prior to install. I did not bother contacting the company about it due to the rude response I got when trying to reschedule the collection date… my husband finally had work on after a long shut down due to covid. I rang the Friday prior at 4.30pm. Nobody answered. I rang first thing Monday, we were told we had to pay a $100 fee as we did not give 24 hours notice. I was giving more than 24 hours notice; collection was after 12.00pm. Too hard! Come and collect you stuff! Would I recommend styling, yes…this company…..?

process from selection of items to install day. Having chosen not to have a mood board created (it was an additional $1500 that I was reluctant to pay), the furniture and styling was essentially one big surprise on the day. I was quite anxious in the lead up but our stylist was reassuring and promising, and she definitely delivered on the day! I loved all her selections and how it all came together in the end. Being heavily pregnant and then with a newborn, I appreciated not having to shop at tens of different stores, bring items home, assemble them, spend hours online choosing styling items and matching pieces and put everything together on the day. It was all done within 2.5hrs and our house was ready to move straight into! My only negative was discovering a couple of damaged pieces - a broken lamp that had been put back together with blu-tack and a dining chair that was broken from underneath the seat and unusable. Being ex-display stock I expected that some of the pieces would show some general wear and tear but for the amount that we paid in total, I expected every item to be in good condition. Other than that, as a service from start to finish, I was happy with the overall outcome.

scheme throughout. The detailed artistic finishing touches which included rugs, mirrors to name a few, without a doubt, made it very attractive to potential buyers. It felt like we had a complete new home and made it even more difficult to let go of our family home.

Throughout the process, Tahli, who has such a pleasant nature, was very approachable and eager to assist. The end result- a successful sale to one lucky buyer who bought our home prior to auction as well as the furniture and fittings provided by Tahli and team.

visited our apartment, and came back swiftly with quotes multiple times due to our exploring different setups. Emily the head stylist then came up with a Mood Board of proposed furniture and homewares in line with our description of our preferred style and look. Emily had a very good understanding of what we wanted and really delivered results. The apartment looked transformed after installation. We couldn’t be happier with the final look. A shoutout to Rachel and the installers Daniel and Thomas (?) too. Access to our apartment is rather tricky due to the height clearance, they had to bring a Ute to ferry everything several times from where they parked their truck. The only issue was that some lamp shades were damaged in transit. However, replacements were promptly delivered the very next day. All in all, a great experience and we highly recommend Furnish and Finish! Thanks team!

Never again – Even if i was paid I would never use this company again. I had my unit styled by FF and they left my property damaged in a state that i now have to pay for repairs. Use another home stager – We were not given the furniture we asked for, instead ended up with a mix of industrial, Louis XIV and shabby contemporary. There were staples hanging out of the upholstery and the stylist had a white marker pen which she used to disguise chips in wooden chairs. Great result in a free-fall market? – With doom and gloom espoused daily by the print, radio and television media in the weeks before our auction. The styling and presentation of our unit by Furnish and Finnish was a major factor in presenting our unit in its best light and culminating in a result beyond our expectations. Thank you to all concerned.

Great no fuss service on a difficult property – We recently used Furnish & Furnish to assist with the sale of the property. The property was older and the carpet had to be removed because of its condition. While the floorboards were in a good state we didn't have time to polish them. Finish website and facebook page (I do my homework!) and I also really liked the Furnish and Finish representative and her suggestions. Furnish and Finish were much more affordable than the other company and the agent even admitted that the quality of Furnish and Finish was not only equal to but probably better than his recommendation as they had a more current and diverse range of furniture. However, he still strongly recommended the other company and I just could not get my head around that. As a result I asked Furnish and Finish if they ever paid referral fees to agents or similar incentives and they said it was their policy that all savings are passed onto the paying client. As a result I had no hesitation in going ahead with Furnish and Finish (my husband didn't stand a chance) and I am so glad we did. The job was outstanding and the feedback we had from potential buyers was unbelievable. Our property sold a week after we styled it (before auction) for a great price. We were both over the moon with joy. Furnish and Finish were so good and their ideas just fantastic we are going to have them decorate our new property by their talented team. small numbers at opens. We said we wanted to style the property. He said he knew of a local provider (a small outfit servicing Noosa and surrounds only). Fortunately we have a savvy friend in Brisbane who said we had to use Furnish and Finish. He is a small developer and said every property he has sold in the last year was styled by Furnish and Finish and the sales results were unbelievable. We are so glad we listened to our friend. Our property once styled by Furnish and Finish sold within a week for $87k more than our highest expectation. The quality of their furniture is unbelievable and their service is outstanding. It was not expensive either and for a few thousand dollars the return was huge. Well done Furnish and Finish. We have recommended you to all the parents at our son’s school and all of our friends.
