Gaggia Syncrony Compact

Just to inform you that you should use nescaffe 43 beans – This is a very easy machine to use, makes very goog coffee and if adjusted to your taste will perform for a long time. I have a DeLongi Magnifica and a Saeco Magic and all work well but the Syncrony is possibly the easiest to clean and use you should get one and enjoy a good cuppa. It makes a good quick cupa The water bottle could have been bigger
Terrible – dont buy one, i am sure there are alot better machines out there. I gave this machine away 3 times only to have it handed back. People thought i was generous giving them a coffee machine worth $899, soon found out i wasnt when they tried to use it! I have a breville 860 model now, cost less but is fantastic, dosnt have a fancey name but it just… Read more

good entry level machine - compact, reliable – owned for 4 years, easy to use once you get it dialled in. Used every day only had to replace the steam valve (which I was able to do myself). Conical burr grinder. Used with filtered water has never needed descaling. Easy milk frothing. Reliable, quick, easy Takes a long time to froth milk (in comparison to my Rocket)
OK – Average quality grind but definitely better than Glora Jeans and others like....will persist until it breaks down and fine a better one. It does the job, compact and easy to use Compact and works with simple instructions. Can use beans or pre ground. Froths milk very well....makes an average coffee ..better than you get at most commercial… Read more
oulets and in your own home Can't get a strong shot even turning grind to max fine with increased amount.
A bit disappointing for those who like a strong hit....buts thats about all
Terrible – This is a very unreliable machine. I drank only a few mugs a week with this machine but it broke down in 13 months. The local authorised repairer on the Gold Coast (also servicing Saeco) is hopeless. I had to take the machine to them 4 times within 3 months and every time came home with the same problem not fixed. The last time they had to replace… Read more
the motherboard but again broke down after 3 weeks with just less than 10 cups. The machine is now in my rubbish bin. I don't bother taking it back for repairs again as these people don't know how to fix it. Even if they can fix it I am sure it will break down again in no time. I have paid more than $300 trying to repair it and spent hours travelling back and forth to the repairer. What a waster of money and time on such a garbage! I will never buy a Gaggia again (and the Saeco too as it is made by the same manufacturer!) Please read the comments about Gaggia (all other models) in this website before giving it any thought. Good luck if you decide to buy it. Automatic and easy to use. Taste not good no matter how you adjust the settings and what kind of beans you use. Not reliable. Terrible service.
OK – having spoke to other people with coffee machines the consensus seems to be to get a manual machine( or semi automatic) i've had one for 5 years, produces good quality coffee but not at cafe standard, i have three coffees a day during week then 5 or 6 on weekends milk frother gets dirty easily, has gone in for repairs five times, now needing another boiler at $250 if cups are not warm then coffee will cool down quickly
