Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Not suitable for sensitive skin – It does effectively remove makeup but isn't worth the skin reaction! I have sensitive eczema prone skin, this left my face red and with a burning feeling. Now instead I use QV foaming cleanser, double cleansing to remove makeup and its so much more gentle no reactions and removes all makeup well. Show details
Micellar Cleansing Rose Water smells like cheap berry & citrus hand soap wash – Do not buy this Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Rose Water expecting rose scented water. I purchased it thinking rose scented water would be just that - and on first use found there's no hint of rose in its scent at all, instead it smells like a cheap berry & citrus hand soap/wash. All throughout my life rose water has smelt like rose water, and… Read more
while this product may CONTAIN rose water, the use of the name 'rose water' on the label is still misleading and should be replaced with "Berry Citrus Scented Rose Water". Very disappointed and felt mislead. And their contact form on their website reloads itself every minute or so erasing whatever you write in the feedback form! Disgraceful.
I think it's great stuff, surprised by the negative comments – My daughter and I both remove our makeup with this. She doesn't go cheap when it comes to cosmetics and never buys chemist brand makeup, only Mecca and Sephora brands so she knows a good product and how to remove it. Unlike some other micellar water that has caused her skin to burn or irritate, this works perfectly on us both, 25 years apart and… Read more
different makeup product removal, it's gentle around the eyes and i think it's great value for money...
Bad reaction – I bought the 125ml cleanser that says 'even for sensitive skin' at a store. I used it twice and stopped because it's giving me conjunctivitis in eyes and burning eye lids. I contacted Garnier to let them know, the support person said they don't want to know, it's me not them and if I want to return it I should go back to where I bought it. I offered to give batch number in case it's the batch and not me, and she said no it's me. Show details
Okay, doesn’t remove makeup fully – This often is on special and is good for removing makeup off my face, but not really that effective foe eye makeup removal. It doesn’t dry my skin but I don’t feel it removes everything, it’s okay, probably wouldn’t repurchase.
Very disappointing – Took three goes of hard rubbing to remove my (lightly applied) makeup. I have fine, line free, mature skin. I used good quality makeup remover pads and saturated the first one, so used plenty of product. I could still see makeup after two tries and had to use a third one to try to get the remaining makeup. Really poor product. Show details
So greatfull to find this product – I love this product, I think it should be in every person makeup bag, I use a makeup wipe. Then i use this do get the long lasting makeup i have on. Its so go i can just do to bed if i wanted to . Show details
Does the job – I didn't love this product but it does the job. It takes full make up off easily but doesn't entirely clear the make up away so I use another cleanser after. It doesn't leave skin feeling dry which is nice but can leave skin feeling too oily if you have combination to oily skin.
My everyday staple for the past 2 years now – I was initially introduced to Micellar water by my mom. She was using another brand but it wasn't sold at a wallet friendly price. So, i hunted for another brand that would work as good or even better and also inexpensive, hence I found Garnier's Micellar Water. From the start I've always used the sensitive skin range, even though my skin is not… Read more
overly sensitive. But, it works great! It doesn't sting or dry my skin, and most importantly, it cleans my face thoroughly. A little goes a long way. I just pour a little of it out onto a cotton pad, press it against say my eyelid to remove waterproof eye makeup for a minute and a little bit more rubbing and make-up is off.
I use this every single day to remove my make up before cleansing (according to the ad you can skip this step as using Micellar is equivalent to cleansing - but I still cleanse due to habit and love that post cleanse feeling).
The packaging is great that comes with a flip top, meaning I can get to the very bottom of the bottle to get the last drip of the water. I love it even more that Garnier has also introduced the 700 mls bottle and I usually stock these up when on special (Hello Priceline this week! 700 mls for $11.99). Certainly a keeper in my regime
Wipe Off – Am suitably impressed with Garnier Micellar Cleansing 25 Wipes (sensitive skin). This product certainly removed the excess impurities off my face (e.g. waterproof mascara) and wherever I wiped my skin, although it left my face feeling slightly tacky after use. The adhesive tab design works brilliantly in preventing this product from drying out.… Read more
Please note this product is not 'labelled' as a make-up removal wipe although make-up is mentioned as an impurity.
Purchased at Coles $2.50 (discounted price - Jan 2019)

FYI; I also tried "Garnier Gentle Make-Up Remover 25 Wipes (dry skin) effective on waterproof make-up". Removal of my waterproof mascara proved not so effective.
Rubbish – Certainly did not remove eye makeup. Had to use at least two pads to remove makeup which was really hard work - waste of money! TV add is misleading. Would not recommend it.
Love it – Removes makeup easily. Dose leave an odd feeling after which i prefer to wash my face with water after. Very good considering price, often half price at coles or priceline
I agree waste of money – Sheesh it really stings you're eyes also it didn't remove all my make up and made my skin sore. Would use tap water (warm) has the same effect as this stuff except my eyes wouldn't be blood shot! Wouldn't use again or recommended.

Love this !!! – Normally I use baby wipes to get rid of makeup then I wash my face with a face wash. But this did the trick - it got rid of eye makeup so easily, it got rid of makeup much better than wipes or a face wash and it even got rid of my pimples ! LOVE THIS !!!!!
Takes makeup off but not mascara – Found it quite watery and went through a lot of pads to cleanse the face. Not recommended for taking off mascara but seemed to work oK with foundation, etc. I have used the eye makeup remover with the oil in it and it is excellent.
Waste of money – Doesn't work, you will still need to use another cleanser to get mascara off. It is like water and is about as effective. TV ad is obviously very very photoshopped!! Don't buy.
